Fallout 4 Teased?

Hi.
I was recently on IGN and noticed something they reported Erik Todd Dellums posting, and I went on twitter to check it out. He's the guy that voiced 3 Dog. Basically he's teasing something new, and people are thinking it's Fallout 4.
It's been 5 years since the last Bethesda Fallout, so people have been waiting long enough. FO3 was my favourite game so I'm really, really excited.
Views? Anyone think it's real/fake?

It seems about right for a new Fallout game.

It's been 5 years since Fallout 3 and 2 since New Vegas (although that was Obsidian) so the timing is right for the next one.

Personally i'm looking forward to another.

I'm running out of things to mod and play around with in Skyrim and i've modded F3 and New Vegas to death so i'm more than happy to wait for Fallout 4 to be announced.

I'm not going to get excited off anything "teased" though, knowing my luck it will end up being something totally unrelated.

On August 17, 2012, a rumor emerged indicating that the upcoming title from Bethesda Softworks is to be set in and around the city of Boston, Massachusetts. Bethesda employees were reportedly seen mapping out parts of Boston, and possibly meeting with associates of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

So who knows?

Yeah it's a definite teaser of something in the Three Dogg Fallout Universe. Excited as to what it could be tbh. You'd think it'd be a game though eh.

But nah, I'm pumped. Especially since I didn't really dig New Vegas for some reason o.o.

I;m really hoping it's for next gen since having Fallout 4 as one of the launch titles for the next consoles would be huge for them and would definitely convince me to buy one at launch.

I really can't wait for another Bethesda Fallout game. In my opinion F3 was better with setting than NV, but NV had better game play. I can only imagine how fantastic Fallout 4 would be.

I mostly just can't wait for another Obsidian Fallout game, which I'm hoping this will also mean is down the line. That said I did like Skyrim, so perhaps Bethesda can wow me, and I'll probably buy it anyway as I'm a sucker for that world and that system.

Honestly, I've not been thrilled with anything since fallout 3. Vegas just was... blech for me. I'm kinda hoping it's another elder scrolls, single player.

OT: i hope they make it more like fallout 3 than new vegas cause ive put over more hours into 3 and still keep finding more and more quests to do, unlike NV where i can complete everything in a couple sittings
although i do hope they make they the DLC's more like the ones in NV (dead money non-withstanding)

Woah woah woah, are you saying you've logged the 400+ hours it takes to see all four endings of New Vegas(not to mention all the little variations in endings) and you're still not happy?

I really can't believe how many anti-New Vegas fans there are on this. It's absurd! That game was leaps and bounds better than 3.

Fallout 3 was my favorite game as well and I would love to see Bethesda continue.

Objectively, yeah. It probably was. Better story, better characters, better combat etc.

But for myself and many others, it lost the things that made Fallout 3 truly special.

Also, 400+ hours to see the endings is simply inaccurate. For every tiny variation maybe, but otherwise it takes far less time.

not really a anti-new vegas fan, i will admit i like the story a hell of a lot better than 3's and the factions arn't exactly black and white in motivations and actions
i also guess my "complete everything" definition is different to other peoples, (little bit of hyperbole never hurt anyone)

I was really hoping that they would do something heavily forrest/jungle themed.
We've seen ruined cities.
We've seen open planes.
We've seen deserts.
We've seen snow and mountains. (Skyrim.)
And now it's time to do something different. They have a perfect chance to do something in sourthern North America or even something in South America. It would have different scenery and different animals.
But now it looks like we're going to get a ruined city with snow.
Same old, same old.

...I'm still going to buy it as soon as it's out though.
