It has to be this way!. (before my story come's, ik must tell you that im from Hollans, Srry voor bad English!)

It's the same genre as Fallout 3, and you are a person you already have seen in Fallout 3 with your character (someone you can't talk to but you have seen him before moving in the wastes, like someone from the brotherhood of steel or something). It's a totally new map, but you still can go back to the old map. while you are playing the new game, your old game (with your original character is updating the new game, and now you can meet the other person). So you can play on your old character, and on your new one in the new game. You can meet him too, and ask if he travels with you. You van also play in Multiplayer with both of the characters, and you can always change him. There will be a new story too, and you can play it with both of the characters.

Grtz Yakey (a huge fan of Fallout 3, and all of the add-ons. (They were great!)

Never played Fallout, but if I played one I would want a sandbox that lets me place enemies to fight, none of that "put down objects then go find friends to play with" bs from Halo 3.

I too would like to echo my sentiments to others saying it should take place in the formerly annexed Canada. This has been touted since the first game and it could have so much depth to it, if done well.

For example, wandering across the blasted wasteland and finding remnants of American occupation and brutality would add so much back story to this high profile, pre-war occupation that has only been talked of in news reels and news stories until this point.

Having played all three games since their release, it would be nice to move away from the usual Super Mutants and what not. They've had their prominence, as has the Enclave, there's only so many ways you can use them as plot devices before they run out of steam.

Hell, the Super Mutants seemed to be in Fallout 3 just because; there was no real reason for them to be converting all these humans and similarly so for the reason why they infested the DC ruins. Sure it could be simple conquest, but it was alluded to quite often that they were searching for something. What this was, was never ever explained hence making their presence quite under developed.

Would be nice to see a fallout game that isnt based in North America, starting to get old.
This. Some modders are working on Fallout 3: Buenos Aires, which is far better than DC as a setting. The widest street in the world, for starters, 9 de Julio, would make an excellent battlefield. You could also take the subway, walk along the train tracks to get somewhere faster, you'd get the huge, downtown buildings right next to the possibly raider-infested slums, etc.

Fallout 4 will be good so long as...

Remove that idiotic weapons like Rock-It-Launcher(wtf). Remove the constant gibbing and dismemberment(that gets old fast.).

Spend more time hashing the atmosphere of the world. More subtle details, more posters on the walls. Make the world bigger, make the vaults more atmospheric and mind-fucky.

Rehash the SPECIAL system so its possible to make a shitty character that sucks(try playing Fallout 1-2 with 1 agility, lol!).

Don't tinge the sky green, thats lame. Rewind to 100 years after the blast(200 years is a little ridiculous)

Give us LOTS of easter eggs from Fallout 1 and 2(besides dogmeat, you killed it when you put him in FO3). Pay tribute to BIS's fallout games by actually playing FO 1 and 2 in order to develop your world better.

Lots more to list, but why bother, we all know Bethesda will do whatever they want.*crosses fingers for Interplay to win court dispute over Beth*

Get the hell out of the uncanny valley. Also, MULTIPLAYER. (Co-op, best) I cannot tell you how many times I thought, "Man, if only I had someone intelligent at my side!"

Every time I wander throuh the wasteland I just laugh to myself, because I can't stop thinking that even post nuclear war DC is more habitable then 90% of Australia.

So I'd like to see Fallout: Australia where you just wander through the outback, and then SHOCKING TWIST, it's set in this day and age, and you've just wandered off from your package camping tour.

Fallout in Down Under would be a little weird...i mean, that would be a mix of Mad Max and Point Lookout...oh wait it already is :D (A China Fallout would be weird too...everyone is used to being a Capitilist, and if they start playing a Communist, they'll be like "WTF" and i don't reckon the music would be as good...Fallout Europe might work...Doubtful Russia will though.(As i said with Fallout China, no one would want to play as a Comm) Then again a Fallout London would be weird to, with all the English and Irish accents Etc. (With the exception of Mr Handy) The Fallout Series only seems to really shine at its best when its In America! I'm just saying, it might not work in other countrys...but they should at least have stories for the other countries though...like the story of what happened to Australia which we're ALL dying to know.
