Fallout New Vegas - Did you kill Benny?

My first character shot him. It took 14 pistol shots to the head to kill him. >_<

My second character had sex with him, then offed him.

I think the majority of people killed him, mainly because it's far more likely a scenario as letting him live.

The first time, I had mercy on him. Then he stabbed me in the back again. I kept up with the mercy theme and let him go at Caesar's camp. The second time, I was planning on killing him in The Tops, but I didn't know he doesn't follow you into the room if you go in first. Or maybe I didn't have the speech to make him go in the suite. Either way, I was expecting him to come in the room, but he ran away. So I sneaked into Caesar's camp and killed Benny without anyone noticing (I had only like 17 Sneak. Thank goodness for Stealth Boys). Maria served me well from then on out. It's a great gun to have to take down lower level enemies while saving your more powerful weapons for the tough ones.

I blew him away right in the middle of the casino ... then removed his goons. Everyone is still talking about it.

I went into his room, met the Yes Man, met Benny, told him I knew everything, told him to wait for me in the Presidential suite away from his guards. Once there I told him we'd settle it like men, un-equipped my plasma caster, and beat him to death with my bare hands. Nobody fucks with my brain and lives.

So after racking 20hrs into the game and spending most of the day with pure AWESOME side-quests I'm finally at the casino with Benny.

Now what did you guys do? I've done a couple of sceanarios like luring him to the room alone with my high speech and killing his guards, then he's all like WTF and escapes.

I also tried killing him for the lolz REVENGE but I'm not sure if it's the best idea. (Story wise)


So guys let me hear what you did!

EDIT: Also do you lose any quests or anything important if you kill him early? Discuss! ^-^

Well i am not a "talker" so my conversation skill in fallout nw wasnt not good enough to get him to come with me.So he trapped me in the suite and tried to kill me so had broke my first rule of gaming twice.

Spygon's gaming rule number one: any person or thing who tries to kill me i end up killing.

Finally caught up to him again when he was captured by legion then challenged him to an arena fight where i ripped his head clean off.

Killed him. And why not...not much character development to care about this stock characters shananaghans and goals. Take on Mr. House who I hadn't even talked to yet...why? All I knew of Benny is pretty much that he just shot me in the head.

Btw, like the progression of challange and ripple effect in the game, hate the constant game crashes.

i killed him in his sleep, but i should've stuck a grenade in his pocket and blown him up =)

I speeched him up to his room without his guards and agreed to help him in the hopes that bu doing so would unlock new missions helping him but when I found out that he insteas ran off and he sent his guards up to kill me I reloaded my game did the same thing then shot him just as he was leaving the room before he could go down the elveator.

Actually since you aren't given any backstory other than courier you are left to fill that one in on your own. Ever wonder why a random courier is so badassed? It's because I was a badassed killing machine who bothered with a delivery quest. It was why I was selected to be the one who carried to platinum chip.

Actually since you aren't given any backstory other than courier you are left to fill that one in on your own. Ever wonder why a random courier is so badassed? My guy had a tumor the size of a baseball in his head and was dying of cancer due to doing too many delivery quests, when it deflected the bullet that would have killed my character he realized he was near invincible (though infact it was only his head which had a protective adamantium tumor, but whatever, he was delusional) and decided to start going around killing damn near everything once he collected enough guns from Casinos.
