i would like to see a modding community as big as the ones for fallout 3 and the elder scrolls.
i doubt this will happen tho because Bethesda did not make the game

When Bethesda stop making shitty games and start making game at least vaguely similar to the original Fallouts before they call them Fallout games, then people will stop bitching.

yeah i agree because once you did a mission for some one you never really font much out about them or the past history the lot of the time the only qestions you could ask them is about the current mission/ qeust that you was doing for them but from what i hear there going to have a much deeper diologe so hopefully that would give you away of finding about more about the character's historys and the setlements that you find

As long as they keep VATS it's really hard to mess up New Vegas. Then again, it is Obsidian. Hopefully they actually take their time and don't rush an unfinished product so they can release it earlier....

Diagonal walking animation.
I don't want to shoot a guy in the head ten times without any real damage.
I want to aim down sight. The zoom thing was awful.
I want melee not to be completely useless.
I want a better mechanic for grenades.

Let's see:

Ability to aim for body parts with melee weapons in vats, the melee special attacks are a start for that

Imaginative kills, the rock-it launcher was good, but could be better.

More pets, dammit all RPG's are using dogs, I want a shoulder monkey, like barbossa had

a grab button that does stuff, ie grabs enemies, lets you throw stuff.

human shields, possibly implementing grab stuff mentioned earlier

more special moves for the melee and unarmed Eg power fist: punch through chest and rip out spine, death claw gauntlet or other sharp weapon stab through eye(s)
