Augh,okay first things first...
-If you took the elevator from the HOLDING DECK You are now below it about 3 floors or so in a ghoul/who knows what infested cargo hold.
From the elevator it split in to 3 path ways, the left side if you are facing the three is a small hallway restricted by cargo crates and old tanks of who knows what-The Super mutant, Raider, and Gutsy went this way.
Going forward brings you to a center courtyard of the Cargo hold, with walk ways and what not spread around you in semi-darkness, there are numerous bodies around of both robot and ghouls.-Donny and Storm went this way.
To the right was a small space where one could barely fit but slide through walking side ways more or less-Donny went here.
Donny in no way near both Storm or Diablo to the point where they can fire on another, I let some of the auto-fights slide but that isn't working now. I'm sorry but please try and pay more attention and be careful with placement, seeing as how there was Green Glow from Donny's path.
As for the general, how in the world could he have gone to the Living Quarters next to the Mess Hall anyway? He went down the elevator as well, and while he could walk through ferals/glowing ghouls easily (as long as he didn't attack) most entrances to other parts of the ship from the cargo area are sealed off. I'm willing to to a reverse time due to infrequent posting and what not, to make it that you simply didn't go and went from the Holding deck and onward to the current encounter.

<spoiler=Below Decks>As both Storm and Diablo ventured in to the center courtyard after dispatching with a few ghouls off the odd sort, a scream came from the left side. It was from a Super Mutant, and shortly the Gutsy "Back you communist dogs!"

As Donny fired around the corner, the sound of bullets pinging against metal came, followed by the guttural growl of a ghoul.
