Sorry for my little delay. Finally 'home' in Afghanistan now. Should have a regular schedule again. ^^

Kairi took a moment to contemplate whether or not she should try to grab the teddy bear or not, but then decided to leave it where it was. The man seemed to be sleeping peacefully, if a little loudly. Shrugging, she continued onwards through the vent.

 

[Raynoson]

Something shined with a yellow tint as Kairi came around to the next vent, the ghoul in the suit spoke in rapid Chinese to a rather open cased radio and appeared agitated.
What was more shocking not outside of the vent was rather what was behind it facing Kairi in all its golden splendor. Stacked nearly in a pile was 4 bars of gold!
Pushed far away so it would be difficult to see it gleaming from the outside, but close enough so that it be within easy reach from the outside.

<spoiler=OOC>(Seeing the size and taking account for your own status and rather cramped conditions, you could probably try and take 1-3 bars, then again it might have some risk...

Kairi's eyes widened when she saw the gold bars. It was so tempting, and she could easily get at least one of them! Gulping, she looked at the ghoul for a moment and waited until she thought was the right time. Thinking to herself as she reached for a single bar, she thought. 'I sure hope this is worth it. That ghoul looks mad! Just one won't hurt though!"

"Ah, don't worry," Donny replied to David as he stepped off the lift. "I can understand what anxiety and focus'll do to a guy. Booze takes the edge off for me, but it don't help ya accuracy much."

Donny motioned to one of the protectrons in holding deck. "Get someone to go to wherever you put the luggage and get a black suitcase, 'bout this long, with J.G. on it in white cursive letters, contains a light machine gun. Can ya do that?" He remembered his measly score, and followed "'Bout how many of those things have ya pegged down there, uhh, what's-your-name?"

"David, shot 5 times, five kills, the 1st Recon Way" He replied as he pulled out his gun and pretended to to fire it before spinning it Robo-cop style.

"Oh, I'm what some people call a Goodfella. A mobster, a hit man, the like. The problem is they make me the butt of their jokes. My folks named me Donald, and while I prefer 'Donny', they mess with me by calling me Don, even though I just bootlick. They also stick me with heavy-ass guns that I couldn't dream of lifting without using two arms and my entire back. I got a vigor tester score of 4 in strength, so they give me things that weigh 15.8 pounds empty! I even had to get my friggin' .44 lightened for God's sake."

"This time, though, I'm sellin' it off, and buyin' something more my style. Joey Gortacelli can kiss my ass. You look like a man who knows his guns, wouldja be interested?"

The gutsy floated and paused for a moment in slightly angry grumbles... "According to Mr.Green I'm afraid that the winner in this shoot out contest is the young lady. The gutsy floated over to the rather board lady and passed her a slip of paper that she smiled at, exiting the elevator in no time.

The bar is moved away with ease though it definitely weighs you down and might make crawling around a bit harder on your hands and knees. Don't expect to move very fast for very long if you keep hold of this thing, and it doesn't look like it will be easily concealed.

Kairi grinned as she tucked the bar in her arms. Now encumbered however, she resorted to inching forward on her elbows and knees like an inchworm, with the gold bar secured nicely in her arms. Sure it was slower but she only needed to find an exit so she can sell off the bar. As she moved, she she kept an ear out for any sign of her little theft being discovered by the ghoul.

Guns: "mmm...I think what he did was He had a sling attached to the stock so get one of those for other such weapons, also you can carry it by the handle above the grip and you can still fire it when holding it there, kinda lika minigun, might be easier than bringing it up to your shoulder, Your aim will suffer, but like it will matter, you will most like be spraying anyways."

I am back for a post since we get free wi fi from where we are, also thanks to Ray for controlling my character while I am gone.

As Shaun stepped off the elevator he sheathed his weapons and sighed, "Something like that hasn't happened in a while" Shaun muttered under his breath. Shaun saw the known as David talk to the Stylish man, he shrugged his shoulders an started to walk to the nearest bar with one line in mind, "I need a damn drink...".

"Eh, sorry, I tried, try flogging it to a guy called Robin up top" David shrugged.
He turned and saw Shaun "Gotta get going, got something to check up on" he said to Donny as he made his way to the bar.
"1 unit of The strongest drink you got mixed 1 unit of the second Strongest drink you got" He said to the Bartender.
He turned to Shaun "and you?..."

"Ah, fuck. Don't worry about it, it oughtta fetch somethin'."

Donny made his way through the hallways with the heavy suitcase. He made it to the upper deck and saw a man with a sign reading "Robin's Repairs". He lugged the suitcase up to the man and dropped it in front of the man that he assumed to be Robin. "I got a Light Machine Gun, unmodified, with 4 full-size drums of ammunition. I got a strength score of 4 on a vigor tester, and I need something that I can carry. What can I expect for it, and if you won't buy it who will?"

On Deck-Robin was still busy chatting with the Trio of fine young red woman armed to the teeth (In case you forgot...) busy stripping down one of the rifles and chatting up about pricing it seemed that he was losing in a bartering war.
(I ain't revoking your action because of a failure to read, so let the fire works fly eh?)

As the suit case slammed on to the make shift counter and one of the Trio looked at Donny as he asked his question while Robin merely held a finger as he began to reassemble the gun and handed it back to another of the Trio.

Caps exchanged hands along with a rather bent laser pistol from a small bag. The three walked away and took up positions at what was happening at the front of the boat.

"Nice to meet'cha and Robin's my name, I'm afraid I can't help you there, those things are a pretty cap when it comes to pricing and if I named mine, you'd probably call Brahmin Dung on me. If you want I think my Gutsy can help you out, he's got some old drill sergeant programs in him that might help. That or take it back down to the hold to sell to some of those merchants." Robin explained quickly as he took apart the laser pistol with the care and love of an artist.

His Gutsy floated nearby as it watched the third and last boat depart with it's passengers.

Shaun turned to the barkeep and ordered a nuka cola then turned to David, "A hell of a day, wasnt it" Shaun said as he took a long look around the bar and at David, scanning for any dangers or suspicious person while he waited for his nuka cola.

What can I say, I have a slowing computer that doesn't like to backtrack, and I'm impatient. I just choose to blame it on the character, which is why semi-laconic, interrupting assholes are easy to play as.

"Whatever, I'll just try the merchants, sorry to interrupt."

Donny then dragged the suitcase back through the corridors, back into the holding deck and looked around for a merchant to sell it to. He approached the nearest one he could find that didn't look dirt poor, and set the case down and opened it up. "LMG for sale, plenty of ammo, I'll accept caps or a trade for a different gun, ammo for it, and about 100 .44 rounds along with it. Tell me you'll take it, I'm about ready to faint."

Kairi squeaked a little bit at the sound of the scream and figured going back wasn't an option. Quickening her pace, she crawled forward to the three way intersection and looked each way, assessing where she should go.

 

[Raynoson]

Kairi-(More adventure! (wait that already has vent in it...))To the left it slopes upward and curves a bit tighter, forward seems to lead to a hall way, and to the right leads to an OMG GIANT RADROACH, or at least a rather large one, it appears to be missing a few legs and looks like it took a direct hit by a laser, it doesn't seem to notice Kairi, but it blocks the way significantly.

A Nuka-Cola is placed with the cap removed in a single twist from a robotic hand.

The merchant is doing rather well as he counts a hefty pouch of caps in a suit, a guard flanks his side keep watch over merchandise and merchant. It doesn't look likely anything could get past him.
"Well ain't'cha just a bit to forward kid, what someone as fine dressed as you, lugging around a Grade-A piece of metal around for? Kill some NCR for it? Or you just steal it from a dead body?" the merchant chuckles as he loosely pockets the bag of caps as he takes a look at the gun.

"Hmm, not too shabby. I'll give you this here bona-fida grade A Trail Carbine with a Scope, and lets say 50 rounds, and that's cutting my own ear."
The merchant holds a box of ammo and a Trail Carbine in either hand as he looks at the proffered LMG. By the looks of things the Trail Carbine seems in good order, though with higher skills in certain aspects you could tell what it was worth.
