you guys HAVE to remember the episode of south park where he loses his nose,dresses up like peter pan and gets inside the kids homes to see if they can "play", rides in a roller coaster with them, and threatens to drop his kid out a window if they don't leave him alone.

this is much more offensive,and anyway, can we just shut the fucking fuck up about michael fucking jackson? no one should CARE anymore.

This is something that has bugged me about the entire way they're treating his death. If it was ok to make that joke when he was still alive, when it was actually capable of hurting the man's feelings, why shouldn't it be ok now? Chances are, anyone who was actually close to him, and might be seriously, emotionally hurt by being reminded about everything is not going to be watching Family Guy, a show that has made fun of him before (multiple times, if I'm not mistaken.)

If you're going to revere and respect someone, do it while they're still alive and have a chance to enjoy it.

Seriously, the man was a great singer/dancer, but the way the media goes on about his death is almost as annoying as The Dark Knights hype.

In any case it makes me sick; when accused of being a kiddy-fiddler the media and other celebrities shunned and spat on him, but he dies and he's suddenly the best thing since sliced bread. Can anyone else smell the stench of hypocrisy surrounding his death?
