I confess to being a fan of Valve, Watchmen and W40k. Tell me that the tyranids are a rip-off of the zerg and I'm likely to kill you.

Especially given that 40k (well, Rogue Trader) described the tyranids in 1992, when Starcraft was 1998.

Yes, I'm a Mount and Blade fangirl. I know the thread is for fanboys, but...

I suspect I'm also a bit of a fangirl of old games in general.

Seriously. Anyone who says "I know that blah bluh blurgh but I still like it" isn't a fanboy/fangirl, because they've acknowledged legitimate criticisms of that of which they claim to be a fanboy/fangirl.
