It does look pretty sweet. Anyone know If there will be a map editor like in previous Farcry games? (I hope there is but it doesn't seem likely)

As long as there aren't any mutant gorillas with Force Jump that can kill you with one hit and take eight precisely-aimed rounds to the face from a high-calibre assault rifle before dying I'm willing to give it a go.
The big dudes that literally ate anti-tank missiles for breakfast made for great FPS bogeymen, but their presence sort of shattered any illusions of realism the game had tried so hard to build up. I don't care how good a geneticist you are- when it comes to stopping missiles, tank armour > beef. As irritating as they were, I think the Jumping Bastard mutants were the only ones that didn't break either the flow of the game or the self-imposed rules of the world.
Hmm. I seem to have wandered off on a bit of a tangent. Farcry 2, eh? I'm expecting complex physics-based explosions, palm trees, pretty water effects and AI that can spot a fly scratching its arse on the far side of the Moon. Could be good. I'll probably wait till it's on budget.

Firstly, the graphics are inferior to Crysis in everyway. So for the people who like good graphics, stick with Crysis. Secondly, the gameplay actually looks very old. Also try to remember the limitations of technology and the sheer size of the game and you'll know why some of the cool features promised by the developers won't come to life.
