Suikoden, I've spent far too much time on that game and I will defend it no matter the cost.

Valve, Bungie and Acti-Blizzard were the first to be arrested and charged with multiple accounts of supplying dangeous materials.

Ahahah... Yeah... Acti-Blizz and Bungie don't have the stones and would drop their trade the moment the law was passed. Bobby Kotick would take up selling drugs to children. Valve and EA would most likely try to fight it legally, which would likely fail (or it would ruin the setup for this post), and then they'd realize they still have families consequently retiring/changing profession.

That said, there's a lot of stuff on my hardware I'd rather save before a videogame (my artwork for instances), but considering it would only knock out games for some reason, probably something sandboxy. Of the games I own, probably Vice City or Fallout 3. There would be no point saving multiplayer games since you wouldn't have anyone to play them with, and any story mode by itself would get old really fast.

Edit: Would I fight? Depends. I have more to live for than games, so if all they wanted was my games... Meh. Not worth dying for. If they went violent, now that's a whole different matter.

If they wiped out Valve, be damn sure they wiped out Steam too. TF2 would be useless without a net connection, and the others wouldn't work without steam. Sorry :(

Personally I'd grab Oblivion, and spend as much time as I had left frantically downloading all the mods I could get my hands on.

Why would an EMP degrade the data on a DVD? it's etched in plastic. It's not a hard drive or magnetic tape.
That's why they burn them afterwards. The EMPs get the Drives and tapes :)

I love Fahrenheit 451, this is a cool adaptation of it...

OT: I guess I'd take a few SNES games like Secret of Evermore, Donkey Kong, Zelda: LttP, they'd keep me going for quite a while, and hopefully I'd meet up with others who have DVD's too and we'd be able to share...

As for would I fight? I guess I would, I'd like to think I wouldn't go down without a fight...

Garrys Mod

Then I would activate the 400 tons of explosives under my house, and blow the entire city to kingdom come.

No one messes with gamers.

I'd have to go with Garrys mod as well.
I'd get stupidly good at it and then I could show people screenshots of my creations in back allys.

It will work without Steam, I'll crack it myself if it doesn't.

Freedom Fighters.
Just to send a message.

Thats what I say, but if it really happened, I would save Timesplitters Future Perfect.

And the only way they will get that game is to pry it from my cold, dead hands.
I will not give up a hobby that I love so much so easily.

I would put an SNES emulator on the DVD along with ROMS. No game company will probably care that I pirate their games by then and DVDs have a big enough storage to hold almost if not all of the games for the SNES.
