Ties and high-heeled shoes. They are utterly useless, uncomfortable, and they're a safety hazard (having a pre-attached noose around one's neck is about as intelligent as nearly breaking one's ankle with every step). Anyone willingly wearing them deserves a slap in the face, and anyone forcing others to wear them deserves a kick in the crotch.
NO FUN ALLOWED!

They look good, deal with it.
As I mentioned elsewhere on this thread, history is littered with absurd and idiotic items that were considered at the time to "look good" but have (mostly) disappeared from use. Now they are derided and mocked because of the wearer's painfully obvious placing of practicality below acquiesing to the volatile whims of fashion, yet do the exact same things ourselves because humans never learn. In a few decades what is considered to "look good" now will be similarly mocked, and the cycle will continue.

You want to wear stupid things, go ahead, I couldn't care less. But don't pretend it is anything other than stupid.

I imagine a lot of people on this thread would hate me...>_>

Currently wearing a leather wrist-strap, four pendants, four sets of slim wrist-beads, two belts, three chains around my waist, and a pair of nipple piercings. <_<

Yes, I know it's gay-looking. That's just how I roll.

OT: Ugg boots, those stupid cut-out-line-sunglasses-things, and people who think wearing trousers around your knees look impressive rather than you've just taken a heavy dump and not noticed.

How are you so sure these weird accessories aren't what first come into mind? To them it's everyday clothing but to us it's trashy stupidity.

Fashion is subjective. Fact!
I literally cannot believe that anybody would get up in the morning and think "Damnit I'm late for (something specific) well better put on my ridiculously tight skinny jeans which take five minute to put on each leg, put on my non-prescription glasses, get my bag put my Chihuahua in it, Get my Heelies on and then leave" no i believe the thought process would go along the lines of "PUT ON ANYTHING I CAN FIND"
Edit: Besides it's what YOU hate I'm not trying to impose my view upon others by running down streets yelling "You are a massive douche" at people who wear things I hate, I'm simply saying that I believe that the aforementioned clothing articles in MY opinion are stupid and if people who do wear these things are on this forum well then... tough.

Also, the idea that a piece of cloth can make someone "look professional" (or that professionalism can be judged based on appearance instead of, I don't know, actual behaviour) is hysterical.
But it does. You dont turn up to certain jobs without a suit.

It's the way of the world. Whether or not it is fair or logical, we are judged by how we present ourselves, including how we dress. Having worked in a corporate environment, and studied fashion, I can tell you without a doubt that professionalism is as much about how you dress than anything else.
As I already elaborated, yes, maintaining one's appearance is often important to one's occupation. But appearance is completely indistinct from a person's ability to actually perform the job that is required of them, which is what many people assume, and this is the concept to which I object. Humans are a highly visual species, and we tend to be prejudiced towards the information we see rather than the actual facts of the matter, but that doesn't mean we have to perpetuate the modes of thinking that this has generated. People should care for their appearance, sure, but don't make assumptions simply because of their appearance.

If this counts, Fake tans or spray on tans. I mean, if I wanted to see an oompa loompa, I could just watch the CHocolate Factory.

Skinny jeans on guys

Fedoras

Pretty much anything from store like American Eagle (seriously, just get a sign that says "I am a huge self obsessed douche-bag," and save a couple $100.

Goth clothing

Nose Piercings and/or other piercings in weird places.

Spandex! Especially on overweight people. There are just somethings I don't even want to see.

I can't STAND seeing these glasses. These ugly ass sunglasses should have stayed in the 80's.

Agh, you're right, I hate those things.
Also, I hate those things people get that are kinda like earrings but instead spread the hole out and don't have any designs, so they pretty much have a big open hole in their earlobes. I can't see why people find that stylish...

Those large, fake hipster glasses that people who have 20/20 vision wear. I hate them, they look absolutely shite.
Massive gauges in the ear too, they gross me out. It's probably because I'm terrified of people touching my ears and the thought of them getting caught in stuff though.

and having sweatpants tucked in like pictured below
These are everywhere in Australia (probably because it's an Australian product originally). And people wear them in summer as well.
There are loads in England, walk down the street and you see like 5 people all looking like they're wearing the jumpsuits from Dragon Ball Z

Can you cut with the prentencious high and mighty attitude here?

Yes there is a fashion cycle, yes it will be outdated...
I dont give much of a damn, i enjoy looking good in my clothing, and i do love it when women wear nice things. (Also looking cool is pretty fun too).

How is it stupid though.

You only proclaim its stupid, but you dont explain why.
I already did explain it: you aren't looking good, or looking cool, or whatever or want to call it, you are merely acquiesing to the whims of fashion; you don't look good because you aren't being judged, what you wear is being judged, which I already explained becomes irrelevant, then mocked, very quickly. The idea that following these mindless trends in any way improves one's appearance, or worse is indicative of a person's ability to do their job, is what is stupid.

No one is judging appearance.

The suit simply has have this office feeling of work about it.
You just contradicted yourself. You are judging based on a person's appearance whether or not they belong in an office.

Worst thing in fashion for me is belt loops on pants for women. I honestly have never known one other girl who wears a belt on a pair of denim jeans that wasn't just purely decorative. So no idea why designers keep adding loops to them when noone uses a belt it's mind boggling.

Oddly enough, As a short girl I love heel's if only to add extra height with the side benefit of fashion.

I can see how some men could hate wearing ties, But honestly nothing makes a man look more appealing than a suit. A well made suit is one of, if not the best piece of fashion for a man in my mind.

Women wearing Uggs shoes. Those piss me off. Men wearing Uggs (and yes, it happens) just make we want to go freaking berserk.

I don't mind fashion accessories, they add variety to things. But it's when a few people just take things too far.

Like piercings, they look quite attractive but when you start to look like something from Hellraiser, that's the cut-off point for me.

As seen here...

But those Ear Drum things, those things look pretty hideous at the best of times - but when one uses them to stretch their ears to pachyderm proportions - you've taken things too far. (To the point where I end up thinking "Good luck in your job interview.")

It's not nice of me to judge, but I've seen one fellow putting some rather large ones in his cheeks. The result wasn't pretty in my opinion.

As seen here - PS: Viewers of a sensitive disposition may want to have some Brain Bleach on standby...

I guess I should leave this here, because it's not healthy to dwell upon such things as I have already.
