*biggest facepalm ever*

I mean come one, stop blaming the games. You could blame Super Mario and say that it encourages kids to be plumbers, but you don't see any of that happening. If any of the games are triggering something in a child's brain, then the child has obviously a mental disorder. Why can't you let normal people play these games and stop worrying on the implication on their brain when there isn't any?

Journalists and TV shows has just as much effect, but you won't see that on TV news, would you? No, cause they want to blame video games, so kids want to go out more. And they have more power over what is shown on TV than anyone. But here's the big joke on the whole thing, kids. It encourages them to play more games. Forbidding games just makes them want to play it more, and a worldwide ban on game is never gonna happen. You want to know what is more of a dangerous media? The paparazzi is a big fat example, they are more offensive and controversial than any bludgeoning, torturing, pedestrian killing game ever released. Oh, sure, you want to help the kids by making them go out, but if anyone of these ever have enjoyed a game, they will know how wrong they are.

And if you listen to her, you can obviously tell that she doesn't know anything about the subject, she's just speaking out of her ass. You're the ones making it a big deal! You're the ones talking about it when nobody else mentions it as something remarkably controversial. I actually think that news media has more effect than games, cause of they're worrying and their bickering.

Also, they're logic is flawed. Take a look at how many are seriously affected by video games and how many play games. There's a huge difference between the numbers. I've played around, say hundreds of video games, and none have made me have a sinister or bad thought, with the possible exception of fantasies of saving the world through having powers like Alex Mercer. I'm perfectly sane, while they're just calling out the extremely rare crazies. Have they ever taken into the large numbers o gamers in comparison. There are other, more dangerous media.

Sorry for the long rant, but I got really pissed by this. If I caused anyone offense in my white flash of rage, excuse me for that.

Could this report have been any more sensationalist? The turkey-necked mom and grandma talking about eating disorders, the long-haired tween in the Iron Maiden shirt talking about people being too politically correct, the unattractive female scholar complaining about stereotypes.

I'd wipe my ass with this report, but that'd be an insult to toilet paper. The only intelligent point is the gentleman at the end asking about the target demographic. He's got the right idea: The game is marketed to the 14-25 demographic that will laugh their asses off and are smart enough not to gorge on cake afterwards, not the highly impressionable 6-10s that would do such a thing.

Yep, this will cause eating disorders. Not the various Victoria's Secret commericals with the God-like women, or the movie stars on the red carpet that look gorgeous, no, it will be a video game.

For a "child expert" this person is pretty retarded.

All I can do is just shake my head at this. Really I've gotten used to the media being biased, and unfair, which is why I like Penn&Teller Bullshit. They're the ones that revealed that the B.M.I. is not aplicable, and that obesity is not an epidemic.

Mind you very few listen to them; which is the rule through out history: DO NOT LISTEN TO THOSE WHO ARE RIGHT!

Now this is amusing. Playing games making you obese has always bin a heated subject, but now being able to pin obesedy on A spesific game, now that's just media gold. Now as for the game possibly teaching children look down on obese people, NOT to worry! Modern societys adult population and the media is alreayd doing a great job spreading the shame.

The fuzz about this game is a joke. Nothing more.
