I really liked ODST's Vidmaster: Endure. Mostly because it really got down to the wire at a couple of points and the shared triumph in victory at the end was really great.
Absolutley. I second this.
Took me and my three teammates somewhere between two and two and a half hours, and took three attempts to get to the succesful two hour playthrough due to disconnects and other problems.

no not that, its the achievement for successfully killing a person in Team Fortress 2 using the Pyro's kamehameha style taunt. its awesome
it's a hadoken. if only it was a kamehameha though :p big beam of doom!!!
wow they're virtually the same, only difference: hand position while charging.
its like i say a wall is painted sky blue and you say its light blue
a hadoken is a ball and a kamehameha is a motherfucking laser beam. pretty big difference there mate.

Some people are hating on achievements in this thread. I myself hate them. But it's not their fault. The attitude surrounding them is one of elitist douchebagery. Don't wave your E-penis at me, I'll slice it off.

Use Achievements to do cool things in a game, not spend 12 hours of your life playing the game in a mode designed to showcase the games flaws (Uncharted 2:Crushing for instance)

Some great ones include: In Batman Arkham Asylum: Rope-a-dope-a-dope: Hang a henchman upside down and drop him on another henchman.

In Sam and Max: The devils playhouse. Ask Your Parents: Hear 7 references that no one under 30 will understand.
Don't Ask Your Parents: Hear 10 double entendres

"You're on a Boat!" from Borderlands was quite hilarious.

Also "The Butcher" from Prototype, which you get by killing 50 characters in 5 seconds. How do you achieve this? By driving a tank on a busy New York sidewalk while firing it off randomly, of course!

what about special? thats a beam.
anyway this arguement is beyond retarded. besides the omgwtfbbq is made of fire (i.e. something tangible) also has a range of only like half a meter, and always kills in one hit so it is unlike both the hadoken and kamehameha. its is its own technique

edit: "its is its" lol grammar fail

My vote goes for "Easiest Achievement...Ever" (Press Start to Play)in The Simpsons The Game.
On a serious note: I never pay attention to achievements, so I have no clue what my favorite moment in a game was that caused an achievement to pop up.
ah damn ninja'ed for the first time besides that i would have to go with getting i think 3 knife kills in a row in cod4 endlessly fun to go stabby on people

Just because it's funny, 'My brother is an Italian plumber' in Borderlands. Essentially you have to kill someone by jumping on them. I don't have it just yet...

I forgot its name but its an achievement in Halo Waypoint and the way to unlock it is by unlocking all the achievements (including DLC) in Halo 3, ODST, and Wars.

You also unlock a Spartan EVA helmet for your avatar as well. And I love it how I'm the only person I know who has it.

Favorite: Seriously 2.0, Gears Of War
Most Challenging: The one that you have to shark 5 or 10 games consecutively, In Bankshot Billiards.
Funny: OMG BFF FTW , Halo Wars
Seriously 2.0 from Gears of War 2 is ridiculous, kill 100,000 enemies!! it's not that easy to take out enemies in that game (barring wretches).
I have it , sadly. I have it on both of the games. I find beating GoW2 on Insane difficulty alone is pretty hard.

I have a couple.
Bioshock - Brass Balls *Complete the game on Hard difficulty without using a Vita-Chamber* Most worth it
Portal - A Feeling Like Floating *Dissolve a Turret* It made me laugh
Borderlands - You're On A Boat! *I bet you never thought you'd be here.* Never listened to the song but I know it.
Bioshock 2 - 9-Irony *Paid your respects to the founder of Rapture.* I just wish the recording would keep saying "A MAN CHOOSES!"
Mass Effect 2 - Missing in Action *Save your crew from an overwhelming attack* When watching Shepard died I made a joke to my friend who was watching and I said "Achievement unlocked You ate shit." then that achievement popped up and we burst into laughter.

And I don't think this has been mentioned yet this is in fact an Xbox thread. Achievements.
I have achieved all these achievements and since I need friends you can check Coratto on Xbox Live :D

Assassin's Greed.
Sounds cool, and so easy to get.
Then there's "I fired every bullet ever" from Borderlands, you have to shoot about 1 million bullets to get it.
And "I am become death" from the same game (Borderlands was bull, so didn't really bother with these achievements), you have to kill a lot of fucking people for it.

I believe it's this one.

More seriously... I'm not really sure. I remember being pretty happy to have earned the Uncharted Platinum trophy, but I don't think I'd call that my favorite. Maybe BioShock 2's 9-Irony. I remember thinking that it was pretty amusing when I got it, so I guess it'll work until I come p with something better.
