Favorite anime character

There has been a lot of posts lately concerning favourite anime, least favourite anime, and so on.
But I didn't seen one for favourite anime character so I thought I would make that one ^^

For me special mention goes to Pino from Ergo Proxy, since she was so adorable and sweet that I could feel the testosterone dying inside me for finding he so cute.
Until recently I would have said "A character from bleach", since the 13 guardian squads are so full of compelling, brilliant characters that it is hard to choose one.

But few months ago I discovered Death Note, so my winner is L!

Who is your favourite anime character?

Kurono from Gantz.
I tend to look down on society, so I could relate to him in alot of ways.

Goku wins, methinks. However, I love many characters in anime, so I'm not sure I can narrow it down to one.

I don't know if he's my favorite or not, but I only watched an episode of Death Note once, and what I assume to be the main character was ingesting obscene amounts of coffee and sugar. Something about the way he moved and talked slowly, along with that wide-eyed-yet-not-QUITE-crazy look in his eyes.....I dunno, I just found it frightening yet oddly...hypnotic.

Tony Tony Chopper from One Piece. One Piece has tons of awesome characters but I find Chopper the most interesting (and the cutest ^_^). I'm building up a plushie collection of him right now...

For those of you not in the know; he's a reindeer. With a blue nose. That can speak human, and do this:

He's also a doctor. And has a sweet hat.

And Eiichiro Oda is crazy.

I would also like to give special mentioning to Agito/Akito since I think he is one of the VERY few good things from Air gear. I was amazed to find such a compelling character in that show.

Spike Spiegal(Cowboy Bebop), Ex-gangster Bounty Hunter who flies a racing space ship and practices Jeet Kun Do. So ragingly awesome that he has to die at the end of the series so no one can mess up the series.

Its a tie between Nanomachine Crusnik 02 from Trinity blood(Or Abel I guess, but the Crusnik almost has his own personality so ... I don't know) and L From Death note

I must pick only one? That's painful.

I guess Yomiko Readman from Read or Die. Powerful without being some Saiyan god of war. As a paper master, she is vunerable to water and anythign that cuts paper. Plus, while too passive at times, has a good and likable personality

Kamina is concentrated awesomeness and manliness.

Fate's a badass, hot (don't deny it), and what made the series a compelling character-based drama with awesome fights instead of recycled monster of the week crap.

And say what you will about her being a mary sue and an abusive *****, but Haruhi is a fun, lovable character who's goal is to make life interesting. Yuki is also a badass bookworm and impossible to hate, for those who hate Haruhi for being an abusive mary sue and Mikuru for just taking it.

I have two Guts From Berserk because I can relate to him in some ways and Vash the Stamped From Trigun because he's a crazy mix between The Man with no name and Buggs bunny

Guts from Berserk I always love when a character overcomes a horrific odd purley on they're own strength and endurance and not due ot some superpower or 50foot mech thing.

That and Guts is probably about as un-androginous as anime/manga characters come he actually looks like an ageing guy sound the alarms!
