Male Character: Lupin III biatch! Best cartoon criminal I've ever known.

Female Character: Toss up between Sakaki and Osaka from Azumanga Daioh. Sakaki reminds me so much of myself during middle school and high school: reserved, quiet, and hard working. And of course I like Osaka because she's always so dang loopy.

Rena Ryugu, from Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. Reason? She's cute as a button, psychotic as a serial killer, and loves to chop people up with a giant cleaver. While still looking and sounding cute and awesome. She's mad, but I like mad girls, so yeah...

Also, Shion and Mion from the same anime, and Lucy from Elfen Lied, for the same reasons. Oh, and pretty much the entire cast of Haruhi Suzumiya, because they're just awesome!
