Favorite anime character?

It's a toss up for me. Goes four ways. Evenly split between men and women.

If you asked me to pick a bar none favorite I might say Guts, but frankly it would depend on my mood. There are different things I like about each character and their universes. As awesome as I think guts is and as much as I admire how his tale is a true epic, it's also quite bleak and there's not enough updates. I get 20-24 pages of bleach a week. I get 8 pages of berserk every four months. I wish that I could say absence makes the heart grow fonder. All that it really did though was to create a void that other characters have partly filled.

Well my favourite character tends to change everytime I discover a new anime I like. Currently though it's Sebastion Michaelis from Black Butler.
