Everyone loves a good movie. But what about movies that aren't great, or even remotely good, but you still enjoy them? Their half-assed excuse of a movie is what makes it bearable. Give me examples!

Dragon Wars is so bad, it is good.

It seems like nobody has anything good to say about Tron: Legacy, and maybe they've got some valid points. Regardless, I loved that movie. From the standpoint of both a fan of the original Tron and a fan of cool "spectacle" movies, it was extremely enjoyable. And hey,
Tron's last declaration of "I fight for the Users" was awesomeness incarnate, even if it was a little cheesy.

Wrong! I will say nice things about Tron: Legacy! For I did indeed like it. It was NOT bad, but rather good. The plot was decent to me and I loved the visuals and music as well. I am, of course, a Tron fan, but what the hey.

On topic, a great bad movie would be the Evil Dead Trilogy.

I enjoyed Tron: Legacy and that movie was really, really dumb. Also the A-Team was pretty bad, but I had fun.

What a coincidence, me and a bunch of friends are having a "bad move night" tonight. Among those movies we were gonna have The Room, Shark Attack 3, Hercules in New York, and old Batman.

I LOVED Accepted, even if it wasn't well received. I don't think it qualifies as a BAD movie, per se, but it's definitely not listed as a good movie.

Oh, I have one: Freddie Got Fingered. I thought it was pretty funny, though stupid, it was entertaining. I enjoyed it.

Evil Dead 3: Army of Darkness. B-movie horror effects with pretty good directing and uber cheesy one liners from Bruce Champbell make it a fav for me.

Waterworld

I was really surprised when I learned it was considered a bad movie. It had action, comedy, even a little romance. Sure, Dennis Hopper was a bit over the top, but a lot of action movie villains are--especially when there's comedy in the movie. I also find the story of an advanced civilization falling & being all but forgotten by society quite interesting.

I'm one of the few who thought the first Hulk movie was good. So what if it had almost nothing in common with the actual, canon Hulk. I still thought it was an excellent piece of cinema.

That and Romeo + Juliet. (Yes... THAT one.)
