1)Burn the Priest AKA Lamb of God (they changed their name when they got signed, I like the old stuff better though)
2)Mindless Self Indulgence, (pretty friggin awesome band)
3)Cannibal Corpse (death metal at it's finest)
4)Slipknot(hate on them if you want but they do churn out some decent metal ever so often)

Nirvana was Grunge. Daughtry and Nirvana share about as much in common as Slayer and The Beatles in my book.

So far, I've gathered this from this thread. One, I am very, very alone in my musical tastes. And two, far too many gamers like the music of 3 Doors Down, Slipknot, and Disturbed. Three, many gamers do not listen to the music from their generation (i.e., all this classic rock. I'm not hating, but I see almost no band that was formed within the last decade on anyone's list).
Thats because there are very few good bands from the past decade and none as good as YE OLDE ONES

I concur with this sinful ghost, or is it the ghost of our sins? either way I agree.

Too hard to name just one. In no particular order:

Dry Kill Logic
Bad Religion
System of a Down ... Toxicity is really good
Taproot ... the Gift album primarily
Nonpoint

Tough, Probably bewteen Rage against the machine, And nirvana. >.<

Also, Am I the only one that thinks some bands that are alternative(like daughtry.) need to come up with more orignal songs?

Nirvana was alternative, There were a great variety of songs though.

Yes I know that, But grunge is not exactly mainstream so most often they are clumped in with alternative.

I miss Tarja.
Ditto, granted she was a *****, but her voice was spectacular.
Yeah.

I mean, I've got her solo stuff.. But it's not the same.

Even though Tuomas is a dick, he can write good music. Damnit.

Its not that. Its because the general public has shitty taste and no one wants to make the effort to look for good music off of the radio because they are too busy listening to the classic rock station or popular metal station.

I just had a musical epiphany. The fucking wiggles.
If you disagree, I sincerely urge you to listen to the song "the master pasta maker from italy" you will be moved

Edit: To clarify, the band is "the Wiggles", not "the fucking Wiggles"

Easiest question for me: Muse.

Loved them, saw them live and it was the best thing ever. Best night of my life!!!
