I'm gonna go with what some of my friends and I classify as hipster garbage. I like it, but in the end...it is still hipster garbage.

Vampire Weekend, No Age, Yeasayer.

My favourite band, K's Choice, just released their first CD in 7 years. I've not been able to stop listening yet...

Favourite artist is Heather Nova though.

Dream Theater for me. They are so talented and their music just comes together really well.

Right now(and for what seems like forever), the only thing I listen to is Coheed and Cambria.

I also like Metallica, Iron Maiden, Bullet For My Valentine, My Chemical Romance, Pantera, Nonpoint, Halestorm, and slew of others.

However, Coheed will always be my favorite band(and I cant wait till may to see them live!).

Coheed and Cambria. There is nothing else.

Well... also Angels and Airwaves, Symphony X, and Porcupine Tree. And many many others. These are just what I'm listening to right now. Coheed and Cambria remains my favorite of all time though.

Wow, I like your taste... Absolutely love all of those except Skinny Puppy but only because I've never heard them.

New Alice in Chains album thoughts? I thought it was great.

Also, 'Winter' by Tori leaves me a blubby wreck every time.

This is bands/musicians.

-The Doors. I've always liked them, but recently I've realized just how great they were.
-The Animals. I listen to The Doors and it reminds me that I need to listen to The Animals.
-David Bowie. Wow. Yeah. What can be said?
-The Roots. Jazzy Hip Hop. Now the Jimmy Fallon house musicians for some reason. "It's all in the music."
-Dropkick Murphys. Irish-American Celtic punk. Great stuff that really gets me Irish side out.
-Daft Punk. They make me happy. They're so great. You know that think you like most in the world? That's Daft Punk. Fun fact: They're doing the music for Tron Legacy, so it's likely it will be the greatest movie of all time. Times ten.

I suppose in terms of modern day bands it would have to be Flogging Molly, Gosh they are such a great band.

I suppose in terms of bands throughout all time it would have to be the Beatles, PM me or quote me and I could go on for HOURS about the Beatles. Hell for a music project last year I did a full scale mockumentary of them, I had so much fun doing that.

Pink Floyd - if all other music was wiped from the face of the earth and all I had to listen to for the rest of my life was Floyd's discography, I would be perfectly fine.

Other bands worthy of mention would be Radiohead, Sonic Youth, Pixies, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, and blink-182. There are so many more I could name, but those will do.
