I like the earliest Bat-Man villians like Stryker and Frenchie Blake the best. At first, Bat-Man was a very realistic comic with bad guys who were theives, mobsters, murderers etc. They were ordinary guys without any weird mutations. Bat-Man was a detective story given the super-hero comic book treatment. His first arch-villian, Doctor Death, is still fairly realistic too. I'd love to see a Batman movie done about Doctor Death. Especially if they manage to make it a period piece set in the 1940's instead of trying to make it modern and high tech. That would be a refreshing change.
Props to the OP though for bringing up some of the more obscure villians that don't get nearly enough attention. I'd like to see them in movies and newer comics instead of re-doing Joker, Penguin, Riddler etc. over and over.
