I have bootlegs of almost every episode of MST3K, and have all 11 seasons on loop every day in my home office.
Every day. Joel, Mike, Crow, Servo, Gypsy, Dr. Forrester, TV's Frank, Pearl, Observer, Professor Bobo, and even Dr. Erhardt are basically my co-workers.
I'm not crazy, though.

as for the Firefly - Cowboy Bebop similarities....they were both very heavily influenced by Outlaw Star...even River's storyline is a direct lift from Outlaw Star..right down to them finding her by opening a cryo crate.

That one's particularly sad, since that was the best Spider-Man adaptation ever, but it got moved from a crappy channel that I did get (CW) to a crappy channel I didn't get (Disney XD), neither of which promoted it for shit, so I never got to watch it past the second season.
