Firefly gets my "most undeservedly cut short" award. Favourite cancelled show has to go to Duckman. Being the only one to mention it makes me feel old.

Firefly

Angel: Yes, even though it had five seasons, it was canceled. The comics were good, but it would've been nice to see the sixth season.

Veronica Mars: There was a premise for the fourth season where they would skip ahead to when Veronica was a member of the FBI. It sounded really cool.

Futurama: Yeah, it's coming back, but it's not here yet. I lament the years in between the show and the movies where there was no Futurama.

Firefly of course.

And I believe that will win this thread as it always does.
Could you explain what the show was about all I know about it is that I never watched it.
Firefly is about space-cowboys, a psychic girl who is the victim of mental rape by the government, and Joss Whedon being a fool for dealing with Fox.
Arrested Development.

All you Firefly Fans know that Joss Whedon himself never intended to make season 2? It had decent ratings but wasn't a real money maker after production costs compared to Buffy the Vampire slayer. Whedon didn't think much of the show and was going to quit anyway. He thought that it would be a better movie, which it was.
I'd love to know where this meme came from. Whedon loved Firefly and had no plans to leave or cancel it (from numerous interviews). F*X screwed him over, as ever, and ruined the show by running it in the wrong order.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to jump on the band wagon and say Firefly.

According to the DVD extras, Fox never showed the pilot until after they cancelled the show, and, if you know the pilot, it was one of the most important episodes. The bad ratings came about as audiences hadn't a clue!

Fox...shame on you!

Arrested Development and Better off Ted (assuming that is cancelled).

Why do the good always die so young?

ReBoot, one of the many awesome things which Canada made, though they're working on a movie, so yay!

I was pissed when they canceled Familiy guy but thats back now. Was Friends cancelled or did they just stop? Because if it was cancelled then Friends.
they ended it before it got stale, shows that last forver tend to start to suck anyway, see: the simpsons

plus you cant have them live together till they are 90 i guess
not to mention the money they were paying the actors in the end

Oooh, nevermind. By the time they finished that one it wasn't so much cancellation as euthanasia.

Yeah, I saw a few people mention Farscape and I wholeheartedly agree here. I absolutely LOVE that show (Note: Not past tense lol). And yeah, that was in no way finished - I know, they did the Peacekeeper Wars, and it was good BUT it wasn't enough to satiate the need for more.

If I recall correctly, I believe the writers et all commented that what they covered in PW was actually what they wanted to spread across an entire season - Which is disappointing because that would've been a kick arse season.

Also another one is indeed Futurama. I'm not sure, I'm not really in the loops here, but I was of the belief that the only Futurama in the immediate future was just the episodic format of the four movies? I mean, hell, I'd love to see more, but that's what I'd heard in the past.

More Futurama and more Farscape!
