Simple enough, isn't it?
- just post your favorite cartoon/anime intro theme (year/genre/etc. doesn't matter)

This is mine:
Hell yeah!

Either Blue requiem from the samurai deeper kyo series or the intro to lucky star, but lucky star counts only when you include the intro video.

If it where just the theme i would go with blue requiem

(the beginning scene here isn't part of the actual intro) It starts at 1:09.

Edit: Embedded, forgot how to do that earlier. Sorry!

The Youtube embed tags don't work on the forums. The code here is youtube="moviecode" in brackets.

Not really to fond of intros. However, I absolutely love Akaneiro Ga Moeru Toki, the outro for Gungrave.

The "Soul Eater" openings were quite funky, but lets face it the 90's were the place to be for epic cartoon/anime theme songs. "Tale's of the Crypt Keeper", "Earthworm Jim", " Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" and "Gargoyles". Not to mention that creepy opening to "Are you afraid of the dark?", I know, not a cartoon but EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR, creepy.

It's an earworm that I just can't get rid of, even by listening to it all day.
Nice though.
