I was born in 1990, which means I grew up in a time were cartoons were still clever and funny so that the whole family could enjoy it(or at least thats how it seemed)
but my all time favorite cartoon had to be Courage the Cowardly dog, my favorite episode is the Fred the Barber episode.
my question to you is what is your favorite cartoon from your childhood?
*edit thought it was search bar approved, but then I realized I had misspelled childhood
sorry
courage was also my favorite cartoon as well. i liked anything with Katz or the duck brothers. if i had to pick one out of all of them, it would have to be the diner one with the burger sculptures. i could spend hours talking about all the memories i have of that show, the bullfrogs, Eustace's infected foot (we're gonna knock off Florida, Sieh??), the wish granting tree, the robot with a voice like Christopher Walken, so on and so forth. but, what really captivated me was the sheer darkness underneath the seemingly nice cartoon look. there seemed to be an episode that works as nightmare fuel for anyone with a phobia. it didn't really seem to matter who you are. it never dawned on me till around 20 when i watched them all over again and i noticed how insanely twisted the minds had to be to create the show.
i've rambled on enough, but i just wanted to put two favorite quotes
Eustace: "CHOOOOOOP CHOP CHOP CHOP"
-from the tree episode
Courage: "Computer, how do you get rid of bad eggplants???"
Computer: "Throw them in the garbage... you twit.."
-from attack of the killer eggplants
