I practically grew up on Pokemon. I also watched Spongebob, Loony Toons, Tiny Toons Adventures, Pinky and the Brain, and Dexter's Laboratory.

Oh, and Action League Now was stop-motion, but it was concentrated win.

I'd say Ren and Stimpy but I'd probably get a few odd looks for that.
I was under the impression that you were some sort of heretic if you didn't acknowledge it as a classic, which I don't.

I really liked Biker Mice from Mars, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.

I would say Digimon (Up to the third season, Tamers) but time and again, I must succumb to the awesomeness that is...

And this isn't even half of the show's list of sketch series. Ah, memories.

Oh boy im going to feel old, i grew up watching Looney Toons and the Thunder Cats. Mid 90s the best cartoon was Rocos Modern Life, hands down.
Agreed. Rocco was excellent. So was Doug, and really all the original Nick-Toons.

I grew up, however, with the original Ninja Turtles. Those were the glory days of American cartoons.

Samurai Pizza Cats has a special place in my heart, a pretty obscure cartoon apparently, I know no one else who watched it. Also Eek The Cat (especially the Terrible Thunder Lizards, gods I love Mr T-Rex), The Biker Mice from Mars, Darkwing Duck, Ducktales and Bobby's World. I love the 90's.

Does Thunderbirds count? It wasn't really a "cartoon" in the sense that it was animated...but it did have kick ass puppets

For something more animated, I'd have to go with Looney Tunes - the old short ones, not this new rubbish.

I loved the Ninja Turtles. Do you remember when they changed the voice actors for Doug after disney took over (i think it was disney) that was awful.
Thankfully I was past Doug by the time the VO change occurred, but I remember hearing it a couple years later on some reruns and thinking "these voices just aren't right...."

I forgot about those guys. Even so, my vote goes to Freakazoid. Scream-O-Vision was great.

Darkwing Duck! I loved that show, along with Aaaaahhhhh Real Monsters!, Rocko and Ren & Stimpy were my favorites. I'm a child of that degenerate 90's tv generation, the one with the violent, stupid shows.

Freakazoid, Megas XLR, definitely Courage the Cowardly Dog, umm... there's one I don't quite remember right now. I'll just stick it in an edit.

I was born in 1990, which means I grew up in a time were cartoons were still clever and funny so that the whole family could enjoy it(or at least thats how it seemed)
but my all time favorite cartoon had to be Courage the Cowardly dog, my favorite episode is the Fred the Barber episode.
my question to you is what is your favorite cartoon from your childhood?

*edit thought it was search bar approved, but then I realized I had misspelled childhood
sorry
courage was also my favorite cartoon as well. i liked anything with Katz or the duck brothers. if i had to pick one out of all of them, it would have to be the diner one with the burger sculptures. i could spend hours talking about all the memories i have of that show, the bullfrogs, Eustace's infected foot (we're gonna knock off Florida, Sieh??), the wish granting tree, the robot with a voice like Christopher Walken, so on and so forth. but, what really captivated me was the sheer darkness underneath the seemingly nice cartoon look. there seemed to be an episode that works as nightmare fuel for anyone with a phobia. it didn't really seem to matter who you are. it never dawned on me till around 20 when i watched them all over again and i noticed how insanely twisted the minds had to be to create the show.

i've rambled on enough, but i just wanted to put two favorite quotes

Eustace: "CHOOOOOOP CHOP CHOP CHOP"
-from the tree episode

Courage: "Computer, how do you get rid of bad eggplants???"
Computer: "Throw them in the garbage... you twit.."
-from attack of the killer eggplants

Transformers, GI Joe, Thundercats, He-Man, ...

I'm a child of the 80's. Looking back now, they're all pretty horrible, but back then it was magic.
