United Kingdom/Republic of Ireland

I'm only 1/16 Irish and have thus lost most of my connection other than my love of beer and Irish folk music.

I went to Norway and Sweden in the summer, and in NEITHER country was I able to find battle axes. I thought I was going to Scandinavia, homeland of the Vikings, and people would be all hardcore, but there are no battle axes. I would have to say it's no different than any other part of the western world. This is probably true for just about any country in the western world, and Europe is all western.

So with that in mind, Sweden. My ancestors are actually from Sweden, (great grandfather was born their) but Stockholm is the most boring place in the world. If I actually explored the COUNTRY in Sweden, instead of my mom decided that we would explore a bunch of museums in DULLHOLM I probably would have been happier. Despite being told I had been to Sweden, I disagree. You have only been to a country when you explore the COUNTRY, outside the cities. I have only been to Stockholm.

Germany for me, but I like the novelty of being able to walk across Lichtenstein in a day.

Much much better, I would worry, if your have the beer and music down theres sfa of any other connection bar a love of spuds :) Just remember that you dont need a reason to drink and any time of the day is a good time for beer :) ~In fact stop reading this, go to your fridge and get a beer! If theres no beer in your fridge then shame on you , go to the shop asap and get some. In fact now that you mention it im thirsty... see you all later :D

What's this? English and Irish people admitting they're part of Europe?
That's new :p

I suppose The Netherlands are my favourite though, even if some of our politicians are utterly mad.

Out of the countries in Europe that I've been to, probably Norway. The people were friendly, the food was good and I like masses of snow lying around since I barely get any where I live in England, and when it does show up, it's grey and slushy.
