Dirty Sexy Money was freakin' amazing. Ignore the name. It was actually a really well-thought-out show with an intriguing plot and well-developed characters.

There was one called E-Ring that I really liked. It had promise, but it ultimately wasn't good enough.

I haven't seen many cancelled shows...

Oh, here's one: Star Trek! It's original run was a total fail. It only really got famous in its reruns.
E-ring was a pretty good show, i used to watch it all the time

Firefly, Freakazoid, Arrested Development and Twin Peaks. Now that I think about it, most of my favorite shows were canceled. I don't know if that says something about me or something about the network executives that make these decisions.

Surface def ranks near top. But at the end the story just warped so much it was like watching a cat with its paw in the blender...
Dragon Booster too, in 2004. Just a little extra kick and it would of been amazing. I think most of the staff has moved onto Storm Hawks, so i'm not complaining ;D

AHA just remembered this Australian sci-fi show, called Silversun. That was pretty awesome too.

Black Books - Brilliant show, I love Dylan Moran!

Father Ted - Funniest show I have ever seen! The only reason it failed, was becasue the main actor died.

Invader Zim - Loved it when I was a kid!

I like Star Trek TOS. It was cancelled, but it didn't die. Same with Mobile Suit Gundam.

You know Gundam and Star Trek have some parallel in their history: The first Gundam series aired in Japan in 1979 was also cancelled. It was supposed to have 52 episoeds, but it was to be axed at 39, but after some compromise, it was brought up to 43. Tomino had to re-write the ending to accomodat the loss of 9 episodes. It "failed" but like Star Trek, it came back in syndication to great success, and also led to a huge fan base and a number of spinoffs and movies, some great (Zeta Gundam), some awful (SEED Destiny Astray), just like Trek: some good (ST II: the Wrath of Kahn and The Next Generation) and some awful (ST V: the Final Frontier).

According to Scott Adams, a show with a fanbase that loves the show shouldn't expect the show to last. Because there are people who love it, there will inherently be people who hate it as well. The shows that last are the ones that are liked by everyone, neither loved nor hated. Oh niche appeal, you cruel, cruel mistress.

Things I miss dearly to this day include Freakazoid! and that wonderful, hilarious take on giant robots and anime in general, Megas XLR.

Although it possibly borrowed a lot of it's concept from Spawn, I really liked Brimstone. I think it only lasted one season. I heard the scripts for the second season were written - but it got cancelled before they could be filmed. Not sure how true all that is.

It was a Dark n' Edgy(tm) series about a cop who killed his wife's rapist in a rage being released from Hell to hunt down some escaped souls. I enjoyed it, was probably amongst a minority but meh.

Also liked Space: Above and Beyond in all it's cheesy goodness. Although the re-imagined Battlestar: Galactica has probably replaced it in my affections.

Street Hawk...not saying it's good, but it was that type of 80's cheesy fun...it only lasted 13 episodes i think.

Chuck Norris Karate Kommandos

The show is just one giant Chuck Norris joke. Any show that has a villain called "Super Ninja" is just awesome.

Arrested Development had 3 glorious seasons only to be cut short in the third so more of Foxs' shows could come in. THE worst move Rupert Murdoch has ever made.

Allow me to be the first (that I have seen)to mention ODYSSEY 5. Sheer brilliance, much missed by me. Oh, and Firefly of course
