Angry Beavers I guess, though I'm not sure about the season count on that. Regardless, funniest cartoon ever, and I am very sad Nickelodeon canceled it due to their policy that cartoon characters can't know they are thus.

Pushing Daisies was excellent. The best show I've ever seen by far. I wish SyFy would pick it up. It only ran for 1.75 seasons...the last few episodes weren't even aired!
I think you and I are the only people that thought so. :p
i can't help but agree with you both. but know one else does.
Also there was a show called "killer Instinct" which was about ritual serial killers and "moonlight" which was about a vampire detective.

Firefly is my favorite canceled show, but I really liked the stupid horror of Night Stalker too. That went off the air super quick though.

Wish they'd bring Futurama back to Fox in stead of this new show...

Sorry...

Farscape is biggest loss to TV ever, imho... I know it went 4 seasons, but should never have been cancelled.

Firefly was awesome.

Thoroughly enjoyed Odyssey 5 too... seemed to have some smarts about it.

And the old cartoon The Tick is fondly remembered :)

So there.

First of all, Titus. Seriously, they had 3 seasons of pure awesomeness and they cancel it? What the hell? Some might say that it's better it got cancelled before it started to decline, but this showed no signs of that what so ever. It was just brilliant from start to finish.

In second place: Futurama. Why this got cancelled I'll never understand. Even so, it was nice to see it coming back to life with the movies that were really good (except Bender's Game. That one sucked). I just hope that the rumors are true and that it will come back on the air.

Third place: Nowhere Man. Great show that only aired one season in 95-96. It was planned for a second season, but got axed. Which sucks, because the ending of season 1 was a real cliffhanger.

And I kinda have to mention Family Guy. Sure, it came back, but it was nowhere near as good as the first three seasons. Seth McFarlane should be ashamed of what Family Guy has turned into...

I completely agree with those who have already said "Firefly," and I think I also saw a "Rome" somewhere up there (which I thought was also a great series).

I'd also add "Miracles" to the list.

Oh, and hey, Noamuth, The Sarah Conner Chronicles ... not cancelled yet! :)

I'd have to say Neverwhere. But it was so long ago I can't remember why I loved it so much...

I find it strange that people are listing shows which got more than one season as failed shows.

Firefly.
Journeyman.
Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.
Friends.

You'd think with so much fan support Firefly would make a comeback, what's Joss Whedon doing now anyway?

I investigated myself and now I want to watch Dollhouse [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1135300/].

I also think if TV shows didn't intend to playout for 6/7 seasons they could be better. Shows remain good but could be trimmed and improved. I think Sopranos, Lost, Prison Break (probably the main offender) and Battlestar Gallatica have all had flabby periods.

Seaquest DSV, ok I know there were three seasons but it was cancelled after the second season. However the replacement show was also cancelled so they churned out a third 'revamped' season renamed Seaquest 2032, which they then cancelled after thirteen episodes (and rightly so). So technically if your ignore season three you had a pretty good show there. Ah the joy of Roy Scheider and Jonathan Brandis!

Korgoth of Barbaria

Cartoon pilot created by, if Wikipedia and my memory of the article is correct, people involved in Spongebob Squarepants, Dexter's Laboratory and Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. Was very funny, great drawing and animation, nice and dark theme, gory... And it only got a pilot. Never went on to a series.

Futurama. It's much better in show form than movie form, not that I don't like the movies, but I think the show pacing is far more appropriate. Damn you FOX!

Birds Of Prey, would have been like smallville if it was given a chance
You say that like it's a good thing.
Smallville when it started was an interesting take on the superman thing, though I concede that it has lost its way

Ohh and just read someone mentioning farscape, totally forgot about that ace show

Futurama, though it is returning.
Really? Proof?

I'd say Eureka. The show had so much promise to be good, and though it is still running, it lost all its luster after Season 1.
