Point Lookout, mostly because I've been nearby before.

Also, dark, radioactive swamps are fun when your character looks like a filthy survivalist.

I can't rightly say stranger, but I can tell you this. I've been on a quest to find the loneliest, most desolate place in fallout 3. The kind of place where if your character just sat down and put a bullet in his brain, nobody would ever find them. I think it's the weapons cache in hamilton's hideaway.

Vault 106 (I think that's the right one), where you start having hallucinations. It's brilliant. I love the computer that starts arguing with you.

Underworld, museum of technology, Point Lookout, the Pitt, the super fortress I made Big Town into after everyone died, damn I love it all.
Fortress? You can make Big Town into something other than a place to look at miserable retards?

Arefu, up on the old highway. It just feels homely every time I visit.

A beautiful view to enjoy of an evening.

Andale. Such friendly folks out there.
Agreed. Always ready for a nice chat and a slice of something nice. Ah, it's as if I can smell the lovely hot meat pies through the speakers.

I love all the little random spots that you find scattered around that tell little stories about the people before and after the bombing, like burnt skeletons lying on a bed, or that house in DC with the robot you can give jobs to, like tell the (quite deceased) children a lovely bedtime poem. It's the little things like that where I can let my imagination make up the stories of the people before they died that really make it a joy.

For utility, Haley's hardware; due to the fact Haley could fully repair your equipment.
For interest, it would have to be Point lookout in general; because it was interesting and well done.

I liked all the makeshift underground fallout shelters you find when you find and activate different radio towers and get a moris code radio signial.
Hamiltoms hideaway is nice to.
