Ok, booting up Fallout 3 right now for some play time. Just thought about how Vault 106 warps with your head. And was wondering:

What is everyone elses favorite place in F3? Doesn't even have to be favorite, maybe just the place that sticks out most.

For me it's Vault 106/82 and The Family's place.

Whats yours?

I do like the Vaults, just because it's interesting to see how they all turned out differently. Although they could have been designed with a little more variation.

The outside of Evergreen Mills is fun to fight as you can climb on the rooftops and free the Behemoth.

Take your pick between Tenpenny Tower, Rivet City, Meresti[sp?] Station A.K.A The Family's Place, Vault 106 or Old Olney.

The Oasis, cause it was so goddamn nice.
Agreed this is also why I liked the Point lookout The pitt and mothership zeta expansions because these places break up the bleakness of the captial wasteland since a large majiority of looks the same after playing it for so many hours. I also like the aline crash site I thought it was an intersting easter egg and home to my faviorte gun the aline blaster

The vaults, I guess. Honestly, the whole game looked and felt the same to me in a way no game has managed before...

Though, admittedly, I still enjoyed the feral-ghoul infested vault and train station. That shit was awesome with a sawed-off.

I can't really pick a single location, but I prefer the Wasteland's outskirts to the city itself; I love roaming across the hills and cliffs, wondering what will happen next :)
Fallout 3 is such a great game....

I like all of the Mall, and the Oasis. In my current game I'm going through and murdering Tempenny towers for money and supplies that should last me the rest of the game.

I liked the general wasteland the best, I think. I almost never fast traveled until I completed the original game, so I became pretty familiar with the general layout of the place. The only thing I wish is that the shooting mechanics didn't rely on dice-rolls to decide whether you hit or miss. Even with every conceivable range perk and equipment added, I can't hit absolutely everything within the draw distance. And being as the draw distance is still pretty limited, this makes me extremely sad, and took out the sneaking sniper mentality that I would have liked to enjoy whilst skulking about the wasteland.

The city. The street fighting becomes intense if you have hard difficulty settings and it's near the begining. The trenchs in the mall are hellish to fight through and at night the wind moves wisps of could and ash and so forth. It looks like ghosts.

I only travel at night in Fallout 3 unless it's a DLC. It makes the game more creepy and i get the drop on enemies better because i see them alot easier.
