Favorite Fantasy Race

New the forums so thought it be nice to get in my first thread about one of my favorite topics.

Like the topic says just list your favorite fantasy race from any game, book, movie, etc. Because there are so many different kinds and different variants on the same ones give a little bio or description about them.

For me I gotta side with the Skaven from the Warhammer world. These "Rat-men" throughout the books, video games, and the table top are just the wildest race. Ranging from Rat Sniper teams to Rat Ninja squads to the Rat Wizards the models for the table top and their special rules make any game going up against them a blast. And in the books they are shown as a race constantly back stabbing each other to gain power and it was always fun to read about their efforts to sabotage their opponents and having every attempt backfire onto themselves from blowing up a Steam Tank in their own tunnels to release a plague into their own troops by accident.

the movie death race. just seems so awsome and would proably have been better with more drivers. its basically a race where inmates drive cars armed with big guns lots of armor and enough gadgets that it rivals bonds car. the inmates needed to win five races for there freedom (even thought the average life span was 1 race) there are three rounds the first two is just for eliminating other racers while the third race detirmined the winner. the weapons and defensive measures are activated by swords and shields these sensors on the track that would unlock the what they needed (swords for offense shields for defense) the third sensor is called a dead head these are the things you want to avoid. dead heads when activated would create traps (such as spike walls as well as other things) that would hit the driver who activated it. the rules are simple.

rule number 1: there are no rules

its a good movie but i liked the orignal better

I don't know why, but I have an odd affinity for the Argonians.... But in general? the Wingleys from Legend of Dragoon. I want wings that are sooo cool, they provide their own source of light....

Regardless of the fact that you misunderstood the thread, picking Death Race made me laugh my arse off hahaha. Good one sir.

Well iv always been fond of the viera but not exactly for game play reasons if you know what i mean
But on the same note the occuria look awesome.

And outside of games, i like the borg & the replicators.
