Destroy All Humans 2.

Many examples, but my personal favorite:

"In case all you White Ninja have forgotten where you live, please come to secret base behind Zen Temple. And if you think thats crappy plot exposition you aint just whistling Dixie."

This is slightly off topic but it does involve a game...sorta... There was an episode of ReBoot (Yeah I brought it up) where a game falls on mainframe and Dot and Enzo are tasked with winning it... It turns out to be an Evil Dead like game with a protagonist that has a very prominent chin...

After finding out the object of the game Dot and Enzo are disgusted and Dot says "Who would even play a game like this?" and they both look at the screen. I really felt like they were talking to me because I love Evil Dead games

The amount of times it happens in the Metal Gear Solid series. Like in MGS4.

"Okay, Snake. Time to change the disc."
"What?"
"Oh right, playing the PlayStation3 which uses Blu-Ray discs!"
"Otacon, what are you talking about?"
"Nevermind, Snake. Hurry, Liquid is up ahead!"

Or MGS1 when fighting Psycho Mantis. I was eight at the time, and really thought my PS1 had died. So many wasted restarts....

I love MGS for all of it's fourth-wall breakage but the point was to find games other than MGS.

MGS is just too easy Hideo breaks the fourth-wall like it's going out of style. It's like asking about the most disturbing moment in a video game and referencing Silent Hill. Silent Hill is disturbing... If Silent Hill doesn't disturb you seek professional help.

That being said my favorite Metal Gear Solid 4th wall is in the first when you have to find Meryl's codec frequency on the back of the cd case... I bought MGS used at EB games the first time I played through it...it game in a generic cd case the previous owner was gracious enough to lose that before he traded it in.

I am about 10 hours in - when does this happen. Also is it a side-quest? Because I wish to see this. :D

OT: In Sacred 2 if you played as the Shadow Warrior, if you put down the controller for a bit. He comments about how he can't move until you pick back up the controller.
The second island, civilized area looks japanese. I think it's part of the main quest after you get "the Sight." The knight and his riddles three are the last of three trials for something. Seek a snake on a piece of paper for guidance.

Captcha: "Lord owslatie" He has returned!

I liked when in MGS4 the game paused and Otacon called Snake to tell him it's time to put in the second disk. And then remarked that since it's a bluray you don't need to change disks anymore.

in Fahrenheit(also known as Indigo Prophecy),at one point, you walk into a library hoping to find some info on a book and some guy tells you that he'll tell you something about it if you find ANOTHER book that's hidden somewhere in the library, from the same collection as YET ANOTHER book he's holding in his hands. You accept, take the book, and then say to yourself "Aww man, what am I,in a video game?".

I can't really think of anything except that part in Assassin's Creed 2. You know the one.
I remember there was one, but I can't remember what happened in it ._.

Ratchet and Clank 4, when you encounter the plumber for the first time since part 3. He's like "Well hello i didn't recognize ya there.."

Part 4 was the first RaC game with HD graphics, being on the PS3 and all..

Or the moment when the plumber says "I'll see you again soon, probably in about 2 years"..
Do you have a massive hatred toward Deadlocked/Gladiator, and deny it's existence or something?

OT:

Bruce Campbell Spiderman Tutorials, ftw

The Paper Mario series has plenty of these.. if only I could remember them!

Hold on. *Checks Google*

-Goombella references the Mario games as a 'series' in one of her tattles, then proceeds to say "Oh, gosh. I just broke through the fourth wall there, didn't I? Sorry. Just forget it.".

-The series makes mention of the 'Player in front of the TV' multiple times.

-Tutorials for new moves are lampshaded with references to the player's controls, then the host tells Mario a being 'from another dimension' will do it for him because he doesn't understand.

Paper Mario's fourth wall breakage drives me to giggle! *giggle*
I love the 4th wall breaks in Thousand Year Door.

I think it's Chapter 5-ish, whatever chapter features the exotic island. Lord Crump is disguised as a pirate and he says something like "It may be pretty obvious to you who I really am, but don't tell Mario! Or else!" to the player.

I actually LOL'd at the self-awareness of that entire series.

One of the Jack and Daxter games. I think it was 3.

"This isn't a game", prompting Jack and Daxter to look at the player.
I was gonna say this, but you beat me to it. The part where Daxter goes on a rant about saving the world twice (available in stores now kids!) would also be acceptable.
