I love MGS for all of it's fourth-wall breakage but the point was to find games other than MGS.Reaper195 said:The amount of times it happens in the Metal Gear Solid series. Like in MGS4.
"Okay, Snake. Time to change the disc."
"What?"
"Oh right, playing the PlayStation3 which uses Blu-Ray discs!"
"Otacon, what are you talking about?"
"Nevermind, Snake. Hurry, Liquid is up ahead!"
Or MGS1 when fighting Psycho Mantis. I was eight at the time, and really thought my PS1 had died. So many wasted restarts....
The second island, civilized area looks japanese. I think it's part of the main quest after you get "the Sight." The knight and his riddles three are the last of three trials for something. Seek a snake on a piece of paper for guidance.Korten12 said:I am about 10 hours in - when does this happen. Also is it a side-quest? Because I wish to see this.
OT: In Sacred 2 if you played as the Shadow Warrior, if you put down the controller for a bit. He comments about how he can't move until you pick back up the controller.
I remember there was one, but I can't remember what happened in it ._.Catchy Slogan said:I can't really think of anything except that part in Assassin's Creed 2. You know the one.
Do you have a massive hatred toward Deadlocked/Gladiator, and deny it's existence or something?mrvenom said:Ratchet and Clank 4, when you encounter the plumber for the first time since part 3. He's like "Well hello i didn't recognize ya there.."
Part 4 was the first RaC game with HD graphics, being on the PS3 and all..
Or the moment when the plumber says "I'll see you again soon, probably in about 2 years"..
I love the 4th wall breaks in Thousand Year Door.SillyNilly said:The Paper Mario series has plenty of these.. if only I could remember them!
Hold on. *Checks Google*
-Goombella references the Mario games as a 'series' in one of her tattles, then proceeds to say "Oh, gosh. I just broke through the fourth wall there, didn't I? Sorry. Just forget it.".
-The series makes mention of the 'Player in front of the TV' multiple times.
-Tutorials for new moves are lampshaded with references to the player's controls, then the host tells Mario a being 'from another dimension' will do it for him because he doesn't understand.
Paper Mario's fourth wall breakage drives me to giggle! *giggle*
I was gonna say this, but you beat me to it. The part where Daxter goes on a rant about saving the world twice (available in stores now kids!) would also be acceptable.dvd_72 said:One of the Jack and Daxter games. I think it was 3.
"This isn't a game", prompting Jack and Daxter to look at the player.
