Favorite game CGI cinematic

I like games and I like CGI movies.

Well-made intros and trailers are a big thing for me when it comes to picking something up from the ocean of possibilities.

So without further ado, what is your favorite game CGI cinematic?

After Brotherhood, I was highly sceptical about another half-assed AC game. But then the trailer came and I fell in love. Great music, beautiful scenery and fantastic combat, with Altairs appearance as a cherry on top.

Offtopic, but am I the only person who enjoyed Revelations..?

OT: Any of the warcraft 3 cimenatics. Never actually finished the game myself, didn't like it too much, but I saw the cinematics on youtube and they were gorgeouses, even by today's standards.

No, you are not. I quite liked it as well.

Got to be the ending cinematic of Gears 3. Though the CG trailer for AC: Revelations is up there too.

I'm gonna' go with Diablo II's opening. The game itself I thought was pretty good, though it never drew me in the same way it did other people. The intro, though, is easily on of the best CGI cutscenes I've seen in a game.

When it comes to trailers...When it comes to cutscenes...I don't know why, but this is one of my favourite death scenes ever, not because Jorge died, but the way he died and why was done well.

My favorite CG clips by far are those from Shadow Hearts Covenant. They might not have the most detailed characters or environment, hell, they aren't even the most action packed. Nonetheless, I love them because they are just plain good. They are directed like you would direct a normal movie: creative angles, clever use of audio, paying attention to pacing and atmosphere. Too may CG cutscenes are just chaotic eyecandy that wouldn't really effect the game if they were left out. (Not that those don't have a right to exist.)

So yeah, my favorite? The opening sequence of Shadow Hearts Covenant. (With the strike on Razputin's war blimp - you heard me - as a possible second choice.)

I'm not going to put a link to a youtube clip, because I didn't find any that would do the sequence justice. This is just something you have to see on a big screen with the lights out.

P.S.: The cutscenes of Final Fantasy IX, all of them, but mainly the battle between Bahamut and Alexander. Just for nostalgia's sake.

I absolutely loved the Dissidia: Final Fantasy opening cinematic.

I thought the opening to Dissidia: Duodecim was kind of lazy, but this one is still amazing.
