I know it's kinda gay, but the intro to Kingdom Hearts 2 always gives me goose bumps.

My answer is FFX, why?
1) good camera shots - close in action, long over view of destruction
2) mix of silences and music
3) auron is singles out from the crowd by walking towards the destruction in bright clothing, while everyone else panics - he knows something
4)the main character smoothly transits from the blitzball game to destruction almost without you noticing
5) you have a futuristic setting destroyed immediately - you and the main character are confused which is a shared platform for you both to emphasise
it is a clever one

I'll never forget that opening. All the games I played before I played OoT started of with a bang followed by heavy music, while the OoT is just relaxing and awesome.Vet2501 said:

The music still sends chills down my spine.
Out of all, Super Metroids intro is still my favourite. The music and atmosphere just made it epic, especially for a SNES game.
