I really enjoyed Pokemon X/Y's soundtrack, particularly the boss themes

Favorite game soundtrack, hmm. A hard one.
So I am just going to go all out and list the ones that are on the top of my head, leaving out quite a few that I will probably remember at a later time and regret not posting.

A very new game... colored by nostalgia!
It had awesome remixes of my favorite tunes from the classic 2D sonic games from the Sega Genesis. Namely:

This has basically been the soundtrack for my last 10 years. Sure, I grow tired of the tunes from time to time, but the feels are still there. Selection of my favorites:

Barrens at night:
The tune in itself, while nice, is not that great, but it is pure nostalgia fuel. Few tunes have the power to bring the sort of emotions I get from listening to this.

Jet Grind Radio and Jet Set Radio Future
Persona 3 and Persona 4

I love those soundtracks and have them on almost constantly. In fact, I have The World Ends With You playing in the background at the moment.

I've gotten really addicted to playing Phantasy Star Online 2.
Its soundtrack is simply amazing, especially for boss fights.

I've spent god knows how many hours playing PSO2 allready, and the new updates keep getting better and better.

Final Fantasy 4 and 6. Their soundtracks changed my life as a musician.

The opera scene I still regard as not only one of the best musical pieces in gaming, but also one of the most memorable gaming moments. I still get goosebumps to this day playing that sequence.

Another favorite is Guilty Gear XX. If you're a fan of shred metal, it's basically like an unreleased Powerglove album.
