You've got some interesting friends. None of your friends played Modern Warfare or Battlefield 3? Are they nongamers or did you meet them all on the Escapist?

The Goldeneye 'Wiimake'. I think it's great, especially multiplayer(even though it's not really up to scratch with some other games) and although I've played it with a few people when I tried mentioning to a friend he simply said "lol wii what a piece of shit"(direct quote) and that was that.

Lord of the Rings Online. Been playing it pretty much daily for two years, and I really love the game, the atmosphere and the maturity of the players, but none of my friends are into it.
Actually got one friend to try it. He got to level 7(like 15 minutes into the game) and then never logged in again, declaring that the game sucked without even leaving the intro area.
Sure, first impressions are important, but what the hell?!

I'd say that my avatar answers your question most excellently.
It's Katawa Shoujo, in case you can't tell. Play it now. Seriously.

Baldurs gate. They had never even heard of it until I mentioned it.

I think everyone should play this absolute gem of a game.

"Sarevok wants YOU".... To fight him

I was about to mention Baldur's Gate. Like 2 or 3 of my friends have played Dragon Age and have heard about Baldur's Gate, but none of them have played.
[What a great picture *_*]

I also want to mention Phoenix Wright. Just...how?!

People just need to learn to not care about money.
You do realize that not everyone mooches of their parent's money, and may have to take care of, say, children?

60$ is a lot for most people so they can't just take a random risk like that easily.

You need to learn to understand the value of money and that most people aren't single dudes living of their parents money and only caring for strip clubs.

Them: You mean one of those porn ones?
Me: well... yeah, but theres an option to turn that off

Things like the Misha bullcrap might contribute to this, too. Things like Misha's subplot are why I would never recommend this game to anyone. But then Shizune's route was garbage to begin with.

95% of my videogame collection, my friends are gamers but they mainly stick to the big name games apart from a few.

Squids for the iOS because very few of my friends really do much gaming on an iOS platform.

Although I actually have gotten a few of my friends to play it, so maybe that does go against the main message here...

None of my friends bothered to ever play Jet Set Radio Future or even the first one on Dreamcast. Hoping the HD releases changes that. Such great games and so many good memories of having the flu and just playing JSRF all day long.

None of my gaming chums have played Mafia, or The Sands of Time, or Hitman: Blood Money, or The Witcher 2.

They are tasteless fiends.

Phoenix Wright series and Dragon Age. Really, none of my friends ever played Dragon Age....

But my friends really only like FPS, and I hate those kind of games.
The only games we have in common are sports games (Mainly Fifa) and some RTS games.
