And you can always just wait for a game to be cheap used or go on sale on Steam if money is an issue for you. Unfortunately people have shown to be far more critical of things when its their money being spent. See: College Students.Das Boot said:I am going to have to say Demons Souls/Dark Souls. Amazing games but sadly my friends are all either pansie ass little bitches or dont play games.
People just need to learn to not care about money. They need to stop being such prudes and take a risk once in awhile. After all how much is $60 in the end. I mean its what dinner for two or a night at the bar or five minutes at the strip club. People expect to much from games, get dissapointed and end up disliking a perfectly good game.Fappy said:Plus I think many of us are a bit spoiled at this point. We have much higher expectations for games than we did decades ago. I think it would be a lot harder to enjoy a mediocre new game now than it would have been to play a truly bad game 20 years ago. Plus, back then people rented games a lot where as now a large majority of gamers own the games they play which implies they are throwing down a lot of cash and expect the game to be up to snuff. If the game doesn't deliver than you're just left with a bad taste in your mouth and no one seems to want to take that risk anymore.
This is quickly becoming a pity party about AAA game development isn't it? I will silence myself before I get rolling :X
