Lee Gaze of Lostprophets.
Anyone like to argue with that?

Daron Malakian is an excellent guitarist also - though I felt he was too egotistical on Hypnotize/Mesmerize when he decided he should be the vocalist as well.

I can understand where you are coming from, but I think his voice still works in some songs. Lonely day is a good song imo.

Les Paul. Do I need to expand on that?

Brian May is the guitar god's guitar god. The man was a monster. He built his guitar from scratch with his bare hands because no other guitar that already existed could possibly channel his ferocity adequately.
I couldn't say it better myself, really.

Samuel Cook

and Greg Puciato.

Ben Weinman of The Dillinger Escape Plan, for his spontaneous playing, and ecstatic live performances. Second place goes to Andy Williams of Every Time I Die, mainly for his really nice sounding riffs, I prefer the riffs from Champing at the Bit more than any solo I've ever heard.

I think it's a decent song, but you have to admit it isn't a System of a Down song - the same goes for She's Like Heroin (minus the decent part) and Lost in Hollywood. And to a lesser extent Kill Rock 'n' Roll.
They're decent enough but they're slow "rock" songs.
I don't mind his singing when he's just doing his harmonizing with Serj - or little bits of a song which suit his voice (a la Hypnotize and Prison Song) - but I think when he just concentrated on the guitar riffs he was better.

Very off-topic, for which I apologise.

In apology, I'll add Dan Hawkins to my list. If you don't know who he is, shame on you.
Or if you really hate his brother Justin

Superb riffs.
