Sure, they're not all that entertaining in and of themselves, but the fact that the main character eats all of them in the exact same amount of time (1.2 seconds) lends itself to some hilarious interpretations.

Oh yeah. Anyone remember Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater? The healing item is in the name... snakes, and lots of other animals/fruits etc. Spending some time trying to hunt down certain snakes or spiders and use them either for food or thrown at enemies as distractions or weapons (snake poison etc.). *sigh* My god I love that game

I do realize that it didn't heal your health, but only your stamina, but healing stamina is also healing right?
