Why? He's awesome, and more or less closely reflects how I generally feel about things.

Also, practically any Terry Pratchett character - while I may not agree with all of them, they're all awesome, whether it's Sam Vimes, Angua, that dwarf chick (Yeah, I'm ashamed that I forgot the name, but I haven't touched TP books for a while now) and of course Rincewind.

Personally, i believe him to be the greatest heroand ideological role model i have seen in teh last... couple of years. Just a sahme that the writer couldn't come up with a better ending than "He becomes crazy and evil."
