one of the two steel bars that I just happen to have lying around. Quite effective and they fit into almost any zombie plan, ftw

My giant wooden sword that lies next to my computer or a really sharp dagger I have in my living room. Whichever's closest.

EDIT: Ooh, forgot a walking cane near my front door with a curved handle. That could do serious damage.

I've got my longsword on the wall, that ought to do. Otherwise I'd just start flinging DVDs. I've got about 300 next to my bed. I bet those boxes make good shurikens.

Well, not much here, but if we were in our cabin in Maine, I could get at the machete in the basement, as well as our hatchet, our larger two handed wood ax, our double bit wood ax, or our splitting ax, which is basically half ax half sledge hammer, or I could go into my dad's closet and grab my grandfather's old Lee Enfield rifle, the kind used by the British in both World Wars and Korea. Granted, this one is made lighter with a smaller forward stock, but it will kill you at the ranges inside of our house, given it is a trench combat rifle that can fling a 10 gram slug downrange accurately over 800m, and the longest shot in our house would be about 20m. Yeah...

A cast iron skillet. It wil make a resounding banging noise enjoyable to all, except for those who are beaten by said skillet.

The half empty and re-corked bottle of Leffe that's right next to me.

Or my motorcycle gloves with a fuck-load or armour over the knuckles.

Hmm.. well, not much in the way of humourous weapons in my sitting room, so looking around other parts of my house... Eat Spoon, computer speaker, and my World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Limited Edition Box, unspecified criminal!

More serious answer: Lampshade, or metal rod from an unknown source. It just sort of... is there in my house, just incase anyone needs a metal rod about half a metre long.
