Favorite melee weapon in any game (or real life?)

My pesonal favorite is the master sword from zelda. Timeless and dependable

BTW I have a huge vendetta against katanas due to the misrepresentations and misconceptions that people have glorified over the years... SO NO KATANAS, "NINJA SWORDS", OR ANYTHING OF THE LIKE.....

Ok I was just kidding about the no katana part...

The Katana is probably my favourate. Because, when used properly, its movements are graceful and controlled.

I can't believe more people haven't said the Megaton Hammer from LoZ: OoT.

Either that, or the Gilded Sword from Majora's Mask. The term "Gilded" doesn't do it justice.

Apparently Lilths class skill wasn't actually working properly, and I'm not sure if the patch has fixed that up or not..

But my whole reason for not liking them is because this can be said for many weapons, such as the italian longsword (my preferred weapon). But I hate all the hype that surrounds the katana. Not saying its a bad weapon or anything though.

Seriously. You can't beat a pair of rocket launchers dual weilded like tonfas, so you can hit people in the face and then fire a rocket into said face.
