I'm a mad sportsman. I play/train for cricket 3 - 4 times a week, tennis, golf, beach volleyball, mixed netball and I hit the slopes whenever I can during the winter.
I'm also a bit of a TV addict and possibly slightly alcoholic.

oddly, though it may sound like a gaming hobby: making interactive art. ie. video games that are art... in fact I can't say it's a hobby since it's currently my career choice due to being an art student.

Playing Rugby, Fiddling with computer stuff, Drinking, Playing Piano and listening to music would have to be my favourite pastimes.

I also roam around as somewhat of a session musician, playing guitar, drums, piano, writing songs and singing.

Oh yeah, and I love learning languages. I can speak German pretty well, and am planning to learn Dutch+Japanese.

Painting and playing Warhammer 40,000 and studying history, typically modern warfare from 1880s to the 1970s with a big focus on the first and second world war. I'm also a huge fan of science fiction.

Hey, this is fun. I wanna play too.

In my old age I've become more of a jock - I like to hike, ice skate, swim, do yoga and ski. Currently, I'm training for my first marathon, and learning how to ballroom dance. Yes, I'm very tired by the end of the day.

Also, I love to cook and curl up with a good book. Oh, and do crosswords. How I love me some crossword goodness.

Ha! Me too! For me it's cycling and running. I do some light weight training as well. A few years ago I had looked into the possibility of trying to finish a triathlon, Never could afford the equipment I needed to compete, nor really had the time. To some degree I'd still like to finish one.

Other than that, I build computers for the less fortunate, and try to spend some time learning about game programming, I'm trying to re-establish my old reading habit. I can get interested in just about anything however.

I believe it. The running part alone is so time-consuming - I can't imagine also training for the cycling and swimming segments. Not to mention I'm still sort of skeptical on the whole idea of wetsuits. I dunno... I don't trust 'em.

Not to sidetrack the thread with semantics, but I think the word 'jock' refers more to the mindset of the individual rather than his/her level of physical activity. I stay in good shape and I like sports, but I don't think it would be right to call myself a jock. :p
