Favorite Non-Square JRPG

Let's do a little experiment. Lovers of JRPGs generally put a Square Soft / Square Enix game at the top of their lists (FF6, Chrono Trigger, etc). So here's a question:


What is your favorite JRPG that was not designed or produced by Square?

Persona 3 FES, by Atlus. I haven't finished it yet, but I'm actually quite certain it's my favourite JRPG period by this point, and I'm much more excited for Catherine than I am about FFvs13.

Just for everyone's info, my favorite JRPG is Record of Agarest War. I know its new, but it definitely at the top of my list.
