I'm never sure how obscure these are, but:

Dark City - genius noir sci-fi starring Rufus Sewell and Jennifer Connolly, one of the films that the Matrix references quite a bit.

If I can have more than one, I also want But I'm A Cheerleader. A very sweet, wholesome cheerleader is shocked to find that her friends and family all think she's gay. She's packed off to one of those creepy residential courses aimed at turning gay teens straight. They fail utterly with hilarious results, most notably that the cheerleader falls in love with one of the other female inmates. GENIUS.

Once again, adding to the vastly massive pile, Shaun of the Dead is far from obscure, every single Anglophile in America has heard of it. (An Anglophile is a person not from England who is obsessed with English culture, basically, you know that guy who never stops quoting Monty Python? Anglophile)

Two of my favourite obscure movies: "Otto, or Up With Dead People", a crowning LGBT Zombie movie that NO ONE I KNOW HAS HEARD OF.

Second one: Let's Go To Prison, a very low-brow movie starring Dax Shephard, most people don't like it, but there's just something about it that makes me love it. I don't know what.

Karate bullfighter. A story of a man on a quest to show everyone the true meaning of karate, and denounce the violent sport it's become.

It's a great old martial arts film if anyone wants a good watch.

A clockwork Orange, even though it is popular it is pretty obsure.

I liked SOTD, but am not necessarily an Anglophile. Sure, I like English culture, but not to the point of obsession.

Warrior King - obscure and great because it has the best martial arms I've ever seen, has absolutely no plot to speak of, and the main character goes around shouting "Where's my elephant?!"

I don't know how you can call that movie obscure. That movie was widely released and, I believe, Brad Pitt received an Oscar nomination for his role.

Kinda missed the point. Boondock Saints may be considered as an obscure movie because of the fact that it's box office sales were in the ten-thousands, but it being a 10-15 year old movie has nothing to do with obscurity. Many of the greatest (as well as most popular) movies of all time were made 20-40 years ago, so you must be a youngster if you think that a movie's age at 15 years is old, set aside obscure.

im not saying its old, just that i dont know of many people who have seen it; hence, me calling it OBSCURE

Pretty wtf towards the end.

Yeah, it's obscure now, but watch it and you'll realise that EVERY sci-fi film since then references this movie somehow. and yeah, the end freaked me out. thought I was tripping. first time I saw it I fell asleep and woke up in the portal bit. (sorry, late reply on this thread)
