Everyone has their favorite songs, the ones that make you crank up the car radio whenever you hear them play. In my experience, those songs are often one hit wonders, whose performers blew their wad on one transcendental experience which would never again be repeated. So, what are the songs that speak to your soul, the ones which, when you hear them, you just have to share with the world?

Mmmm... no one-hit wonders, but I made everyone I know listen to Sarah Brightman's Fleurs Du Mal. Best song of 2008, by far.

I agree. It's a great workout song.
It was sung by Paul Engemann
And it was in Scarface.
Not to be confused with the version by Corbin Bleu, who destroyed it royally.

Personally, I always preferred the Eagles' version.
Or was that "Take It to the Limit"?

If someone posts 'Never Gonna Give You Up' by Rick Astley then I'm going to strangle them through their monitors.

As for my favourite, 'Oh Yeah' by Yello. No matter how many times I listen to it, I chuckle.

great song.
I have to say, it's very interesting, especially set to that video. Good choice.

I personally enjoy Hallucinating Pluto by the B-52's, or Paper Walls by Yellowcard, or Can't Stop by The Red Hot Chili Peppers, or Easy Way Out by The Pink Spiders.

Oh, I like the song, but the prank that evolved from it is getting old.

The Knack - My Sharona

Biggest one hit wonder EVER
You mean this? It's pretty slick. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yE9Q88sbqJQ&feature=PlayList&p=19BFE2C632F6A28E&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=29] I'm impressed, surprised I haven't heard about them.

It is VERY much NOT a modern song... which makes it entertaining, but getting pranked by it is stupid. Remember people: the less a joke is performed, the funnier it becomes!

I rickrolled my roomate ONCE after about three-quarters through the year. It was hilarious for both of us.

I love all those catchy, dancey one hit one wonders, such as 'Call on me' or 'Fly on the wings of love'
:D

Rick Astley's Never gonna give you up, I really really love that song but I am perplexed as to how such a magnificent voice comes from someone as small as he, 'tis truly an epic voice.
