Favorite parts of the Mass Effect series. (Spoilers likely)

Lately the trend regarding Mass Effect threads either has to do with the terrible ending, or whether or not it should be changed.

Frankly, I figured the Mass Effect threads could do with a brighter topic here or there so I came up with this.

What is your favorite part or parts out of the whole Mass Effect series. Anything from favorite characters, moments, diaglogue,...etc.

My personal favorites are just about anything Garrus says (he's just straight up awesome).

Perhaps my favorite moment is when...

It's a tie between watching Kalros and the Reaper destroyer duke it out on Tuchanka, or taking the renegade interrupt that kill Kai Leng.

- Mordin singing Gilbert and Sullivan
- Mordin wanting to perform tests on seashells
- "Shepard." "Wrex."
- Shepard and Liara bickering like an old married couple during the LotSB car chase
- "This has resulted in several mating requests for Grunt. And at least one for Shepard."
- Kalros v Reaper
- Conversing directly with Sovereign
- Tali getting drunk
- Joker saving the Normandy
- Finding the head of the Statue of Liberty in the Kasumi DLC
- Anderson punching out Udina at the end of ME1
- The entire run up the outside of the Citadel Tower at the end of ME1, with Sovereign visible above you
- Shepard and Garrus shooting cans
- Protheans turning out to be slavemongering arseholes

- Garrus hoping nobody tries to marry him off to Eve because Krogan women like scars. Cut to the medbay and Mordin trying to marry Garrus off to Eve.

- just about everything Mordin
- "I am Garrus Vakarian, and this is now my favourite spot on the citadel!"
- "Had to be me. Someone else might have gotte it wrong."
- "Kalros still following us!" - "Tell me something I don't know!" - "Metal in truck excellent iron supplement for thresher maw's diet."

And so many more. Half of them probably having Mordin in them at one point.

Well, Garrus just made me feel extremely guilty for shooting Mordin and Wrex. Even though my Shepard had to do those things because she doesn't believe the krogan can be trusted.

Anytime Legion is on screen. He is just so badass.
Legion Dancing like the badass he is.
Liara when she gets flustered.
And all the time EDI makes here "That was joke lines" Especially when she does it to Joker about liking the sight of humans on their knees.
And when Femshep pulls this on EDI in return. That was epic also.
Punching the Reporter (This is so obvious) but i also like the bit in ME3 when you take a swipe at her and she dodges.

Lesse now. it's kind of a long list...

- Anything involving Wrex. ("Us against the unknown... killing it with big guns.")
- Finding and speaking to Vigil. Nice calm-before-the-storm moment.
- The final run up the outside of the council tower in ME1.
- Liara from LotSB onwards.
- The intro sequence in ME2. In particular, that moment when you step out onto the shattered CIC.
- Anything involving Mordin.("Right choice. Still... hard to sleep some nights.")
- Most of the loyalty missions.
- Getting to know Jack.
- Shepard and Liara's dialogue in LotSB. In particular, the "married couple" moments and when she breaks down after the final fight.
- Speaking to Legion.
- The suicide mission.
- Hanging up on the Illusive Man. (I'm getting a lot of bullshit on this line.")
- Liara's time capsule project and the scene where she yells at Javik.
- The fall of Thessia and aftermath.
- Talking to Eve.
- Shooting bottles with Garrus
- The final goodbyes.

I wish she had a bigger part in 3 tho. The little she has is great. I'm half-tempted to put my current Shep with her.

-Everything Mordin and Legion
-Watching characters I cared little for in ME1 (Tali, Liara), turn into great characters in ME2 and ME3
-The conversations with Vigil, Sovereign, and to a lesser extent Harbinger (ME2 Arrival DLC)
-The kid and the eerie dreams in ME3. They seem out of place, but I still like how Shepard is being worn down the whole game.
-Shepard's snarky remarks in ME1. Renegade/Paragon moments in ME2 (not really in ME3)
-Learning more about the Geth in ME2 and ME3.
-The end of Thane's recruitment mission. Hell of a way to introduce someone.
-The beginning and end of ME2 (even with the kinda meh final boss). During the whole suicide mission, I was so tense, hoping my team wouldn't get killed. I've never seen anything like that in a game. So much better than dying and reloading the save.
-The final run to the conduit in ME3 (did they call it a conduit?). Regardless of what happened later, it was thrilling making that run.
-All the little characters moments in ME2 and ME3.
-Each game gave me something different. ME1 was about mystery, exploration, and the atmosphere. ME2 was about character and team-building. ME3 was a desperate struggle to survive (and for the 1st time in the series I really liked the combat), and resolving some of the biggest issues in the galaxy).

Also the Renegade interupt on Tachunka in ME2. I now call headbutts 'Krogan Diplomcay'.

-The final run to the conduit in ME3 (did they call it a conduit?). Regardless of what happened later, it was thrilling making that run.

To my knowledge they only referred to it as "the beam". But that was a pretty awesome moment regardless.

I like how they brought back the Big Stupid Jellyfish line from ME 1.

Killing Legion in ME 3...good god that was 100% like putting down Old Space Yeller...just gotta shoot him over and over and over again. Pretty brutal.

The conversation regarding the pros and cons of the mako vs the hover tank in ME 3.

Taking Javik on the mission to Thessia.

A conversation that occurs if you take Garrus and Tali to the Citadel in ME 2:
Garrus: "Do you ever miss the conversations we used to have in the elevators here?"
Tali: "No."
Garrus: "Awww, come on. Remember how you used to tell us about what life was like on the Flotilla?"
Tali: "This conversation is over."
Garrus: "No, really! Tell me about your immune system again!"
Tali: "I have a shotgun, you know..."

Oh, and who could ever forget Joker's little exchange with EDI when the Normandy gets attacked in ME2.

Joker: Ugh, you want me to climb through the air ducts again, don't you?

EDI: I love the sight of humans on their knees.
