In melee it was samus but the new samus that is in brawl took me too long to get used to so i took ike for a spin and never looked back. I mean all his moves will fling you 2000 feet in the air, eather is absolutely implausibly sexy and man those arms *drools*

Captain Falcon for all of them. And in Brawl, I always make sure he's pink. It just makes it funnier when I destroy my friends.

Jigglypuff in Melee, hands down.
In Brawl it's either Kirby (for the lulz), Samus/Zero Suit or Pokemon Trainer for the srs buznis.

Falco. I have also enjoyed playing as Mario, King Deedeedee and Ganondorf. Not really sure who I am best with, but everyone for their own purpose. I love using the cape when friends are trying to get back in however. I once turned Wolf's B + left/right with that. My friend got really pissed at me then.

Original: Ness

Melee: Marth

Brawl: Diddy Kong

Overall: Diddy Kong. He's just so nimble and well rounded. Quick in the air and on the ground, and banana's are fricken overpowered if used wisely.

We like Ike! We like Ike!

For srs, Ike isn't even my best character, but he's so fun to play as, with his big, slow, gigantic attack moves.

Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Marth, Pokemon Trainer.
Really annoying fast moving rodents that have lightning for the win.

Everyone, the doctor is IN THE HOUSE. Doctor Mario is freaking indestructible. Period. If you know how to play him, it's impossible to lose. You can toss them up (and juggle constantly with the Up+A), you can throw them off the stadium and ledge guard like a maniac. He has the attack with the highest initiative (when you're falling in the air and you press A for the drop kick, nobody can touch you without getting launched). Mario did all of these things, but weaker and faster. He also was taken out faster. Give him a PHD and he's a tank.

Choosing characters is for sissies. Real men use the random feature.

Though I'm most capable of fighting as Toon Link.

SSB - Captain Falcon (white/pink of course) or Pikachu (with blue hat)
Melee - Probably still Captain Falcon. I'm usually among the first to die, but my kill count will be at the top. He's my "reckless" character. My conservative character would probably be Link (green) or Marth (red). I also like playing as Mewtwo just because I use a completely different fighting style. Rather than running in and attacking I play really defensively, with heaps of dodging, stunning, and grabbing. Suits his character more to play calm and precise.
Brawl - Samus (green or fusion) or Wolf (white + red detail).

That said, I'm competent with most characters and like to switch it up every round. The ones I tend to avoid are Ice Climbers, Meta Knight, Wario, Pit, Olimar, and Sonic. I had a fun match with my friend on Melee - I was Ganon and he was Zelda/Sheik. He hit me 10 times for every hit I landed on him, but I still ended up winning. Ganon's such a beast... well he was, before Brawl ruined him.

EDIT: I also need to add that I'm unbeatable with Ike... which is why I rarely use him. It's no fun to effortlessly dominate everyone else. They made him WAY too strong. To begin with his counter makes it hard to lay a finger on him, and once you do his weight ensures you need to lay a fair few more on him before you can knock him off. ANY hit from ANY of his sword moves (which is practically ALL of his moves) will fuck you up, and if his ->B falls short (which is what you aim for) you can immediately follow it up with a devastating AAA combo. The quick dash in (-> B) + AAA needs lightning fast reflexes or great intuition to counter.

Sheik. She does exactly what I want her to do in any situation. The controls are so intuitive that I forget I'm holding a controller.
