Favorite Song in an Anime

I honestly don't see how I could choose.

Just for grins, I'll say "Innocent Starter," the opening to Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha. I think the thing I love most is that it's not standard random gushy nonsense (not that I object to that). Halfway through the season, all those lyrics suddenly made sense.

Jesus, that Calumon video was so retarded. Both of them. In the worst way possible, even the 'cute' factor was microscopic.

Either way, that Team Rocket Double Trouble song I really liked, but other than that, I haven't watched enough anime (or, at least, remember sufficiently of it to pick a favorite), but since Death Note's second season's intro was what made me listen to Maximum the Hormone's Bu-ikikaesu (which I liked, thank you very much), I guess that's my pick.

EDIT: Hah, I'm surprised of the numerous mentions of Death Note's opening. I thought it was good, but since it was from the album of a band who didn't do it specifically, exclusively for the anime, I was kind of reluctant. And the album really has better songs anyway.

Try to ignore that stupid Calumon thing. It's been complained about before but the...person has shown no signs of stopping it.

Couple of scattered Bleach and Naruto openings have been good, and the Inuyasha ending with the spider lilies was nice, but those two are my favorite.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I giggle incoherently everytime I hear the first Digimon opening, too.

First pokemon opening was fun, but I think a bunch of people have already linked that.

This pretty much. Anything by Do As Infinity works for me, or Namie Amuro, or anyone really. I'll just put this one from Chrome Shelled Regios. I haven't even seen this one, my little bro was watching and I heard the song, and thought it was sufficiently awesome.

I don't watch too many anime, but there are two songs that are stuck in my head, neither of which I know the name of.

One is that Naruto song, of course, because of that damn catchy guitar riff.

And the other is kind of rare. It's the theme to the American version of an anime that was about this kid and his sentient ball & chain (complete with awesome 'stache) that had a group of friends fighting a group of baddies on a wierd alien/medieval world.

If anyone can actually find this one, I'll put in a call to the local otaku office and recommend you for promotion.
