George Carlin, Chris Rock, and Ron White are awesome, but the late great Mitch Hedberg is by far my favorite.

Really not a big fan of Lewis Black. Much like Sam Kinison, he relies on energy and yelling to deliver punchlines. Just seems hacky to me, I personally believe a joke should come through whether its deadpan or yelled

oh, also earthquake is awesome too, incredibly underrated
