The kessel run is full of black holes that people take the long way around while han with his faster ship and his big balls took a 12parsec run and got away with it thanks to his fast ship etc. blah blah.

As a Star Wars nerd with a lot of the older books and roleplaying material, they actually rationalised it by saying that the Kessel Run normally takes about 18 parsecs of distance to get too, but the Millenium Falcon's navigational computer was able to navigate the gravity wells effectively enough to get through to Kessel in less than 12.

That makes it a big deal in the Star Wars universe... but still just a rationalisation for screwing up in the original script. Haha.

Either way, my favorite character is Wedge Antilles.

I preferred silver in one hand and viridian in the other.

The exile is my favourite. Why? He (she in canon) was a wound in the force and was described by Kreia to be the death of it. That makes him awesome.
